1st Signature:
You should resize the Person and fit it into the Frame, that would look better also disliking the Render of the Ship.

2nd Signature:
Looks really cool, except that the Render looks a bit weird.

Other than that, they're cool.

I love those Bain, like it how you make them small but cute:D
Only textures on bretonian bs look a bit weird.

Also, fixed my sig, lowered the lighting on front of ossie, and reduced shadow's depth.
Looks nicer to me now :unsure:

And the bret bs look wierd, becuase my knowledge is low on texturing the ships properly D:

Rendering with 3ds Max isn't that hard, what puzzles me is how you're able to produce those texturing issues in your renders.

Are you using Milkshape for converting the cmp into an obj?

Wish my Milkshape and 3ds would be working, right now the Trials are over. Someone help plox.
