' Wrote:Ok, Folgore let me write up some Lore for the Order Remnant. Its essentially the Order of vanilla: One battleship, mostly snubs.

This is just a draft. If you have any suggestions to this, please leave a comment. Dont spam the PM box please.

Order Remnant

The Order was devastated in the bloody Nomad War. The Osiris, the sole battleship, fought until the end, finally facing no less than three Nomad Marduk Battleships. As its fighter escorts engaged, the Osiris managed to concentrate enough firepower to destroy a sole Marduk. Changing fire, the Osiris managed to heavily damage the next Marduk before Nomad Bombers unleashed their deadly payloads into the Osiris.

As the Osiris'€™s super carriage shattered, and it broke in two, a portion of the crew escaped and made for Toledo. Crashing, the remaining crew did their best to survive as the strike teams went for the sphere. Failing, and low on fuel, the remains of the Order Strike Wings were led by Junko Zane and Michael King back to Toledo, where they crashed landed, or barely managed to land, on the frozen surface.. Edison Trent and Casper Orillion both died in the attack, as did Doctor Roland Quintaine. Stuck on the surface, Zane and King did their best to lead, until King succumbed to wounds. As Junko mourned, the camp spiraled to chaos, as Kendra Sinclair failed in keeping the order. The chaos ensured, but stopped when a pilot known only as Sora managed to restore order. As the remnant did their best to survive, living in caves, rationing heavily, a young enterprising engineer named Finn Hawkins managed to convert the communications arrays on the remaining two Anubis fighters left and send a signal for help.

Far away, in the Sanctuary 42 System, Ellie Synk, onboard the [CENSORED BY FOLGORE]Citadel of Quebec, received the SOS signal. Mobilizing a small fleet comprised of the COQ, two [CENSORED BY FOLGORE]cruisers, four [CENSORED BY FOLGORE] frigates, and five [Must I say it again?]Guard Gun ships, and accompanied by no less than ten full fighter wings, Ellie Synk stormed the Omicron Minor system, breaking through the Nomad blockade to Toledo. As the majority of her fleet held the line, and the Citadel of Quebec achieving Orbit, Ellie dispatched the [CENSORED]Frigate Forward Unto Dawn to the surface to locate the survivors. Rescuing around one hundred people who had served onboard the Osiris, along with the remaining twenty pilots, the *****managed to clamp the remains of the once-formidable Osiris to them and began its retreat. As Nomads poured in from the Dyson Sphere, the Citadel of Quebec was cut off from the remainder of the fleet until Dave Synk, the wife of Ellie, brought his fleet in, covering the Citadel of Quebec and her escorts.

Engineers and technicians began to look over the destroyed vessel as the survivors were treated onboard the Citadel of Quebec. It was at this time that Sora took command of the Order Remnant, with Junko Zane as his Second in Command. Negotiating with the ***** Leadership, Sora managed to forge an alliance with the ***** group, and even managed to gain the means top rebuild the Osiris.

Present:

With the help of ***** technicians, the Order Remnant was able to rebuild the shattered Osiris, renaming it the Oathkeeper. The Order Remnant bases off the Oathkeeper, commencing surgical strikes with the newly-designed Nephthys and Sekhmet craft that ***** had helped to design, against Nomad holdings within the Sirius sector.

After the Oathkeeper was completed, it was revelaed that it had been *****'s fault that the Order had fallen. Angry and hurt at the betrayl, Sora denounced ***** and said to Ellie "I have no Twin."

Diplomacy:

Allied:
Zoners: Other than the Corsairs, the Zoners are some of the only entities within Sirius who actively help the Order Remnant, supply them with food and docking facilities. The Remnant helps the Zoners as best as they can.

Friendly:
Corsairs: The alliance was shattered, but the Order Remnant forged a new one. Doing their best, both sides are attempting to help the other.

Neutral:
Unfriendly:
Hostile:
Nomads: Their main enemy, the Remnant commences surgical strikes against Nomad holdings, but never repeating the same mistakes that led to their defeat during the Nomad War.
*****: At first ***** helped the Remanant, but intelligence that was revelaed by Ellie Synk to Sora revelaed that it was ***** were responsible for the Order's massacre. The Remnant now views ***** as hostile, and will attack them if they see an opening.

Thanks for reading. There has been censorship due to spoilers.

Folgore, you Ninja'd me. Thanks alot:dry:Tell me when I can uncensor this though.

Thanks for blanking-out those parts. :)And yes, I like the idea. @moderators And can we have this thread moved into General Gaming? -Nope. General Gaming is for games not related to Freelancer. You picked the right spot already when you posted here -Burg

No problem. Had to edit cuz I missd a few key words. But I am sure I got it all. Please critique it people.

And Kudos to whoever knows where I got the Name Citadel of Quebec.

It's obscure, but I will say It is related to one of my favorite games (not Kingdom Hearts).

I was brought up in a home where the name Sasha Grey did not comeinto my ears.

No, the flagship will eb oathkeeper, and Ellie's flagship is a Dreadnought. I chose CItadel of Quebec because I could.

So, another OCV-Oathkeeper. Depending on how many people get onto your server, I may ask if the Resheph can be added, and a small shipyard be constructed for Reshephs and hathors.

And is it possible for a player ship to be a ship sell point? There is capship docking, right? So, is that possible?

I don't know, but possibly yes, fact is that capital ship docking is permitted with a hidden base in a system, when you select 'dock' on a player ship you dock on said hidden station within the system in which you are.

Ok Folgore. It would help the roleplay if it all fighters from the only battleship of a faction.*

Also, as for Liberty, what is going to happen to the Navy and LSF? Ther more options I got, the better Lore I can write with more stuff.

And what I mean is that, of a faction such as the Order Remnant.

I SAID STOP NINJA'N ME!

You forgot a /

Ship Body

And....

Hacker "Nostromo" Gunship. I get an Aliens Dropship vibe from it:P

Superedited Post!

As for my Remnant VHF, can the upward fin be a bit bigger, and going diagonally up? Its personal preference. I like it overall. I want it now!:(

The Liberty Navy will have a hard time in trying to repel Rheinland military elements out from Texas/Hudson/Bering. While the LSF will have a hard time aswell in trying to keep out the Nomads out from Liberty, with the lack of the Order, and in trying to understand from what the Rheinland Government revived itself after the Nomad Wars.

And yes, in this spin-off, Rheinland is evil again.

Depends, I was talking about with your request with the rest of the D-Team over on an IRC channel, and they aren't highly good on the idea of having a lone Osiris around the Edge Nebula, thus encouraging new people to battleships and such.

Do you understand our judgement?

We are, from a lore point of view, that having a small group of people, with a battleship, cut off from the rest of civilization, hardly believeable.

In 801 AS, Orillion barely had 30 people with him, with the loss of the Osiris in Orbit around Toledo in 801 AS, many Order agents died, thus hardly being 5? 6?

But I like the idea of these survivors, and about the death of Edison Trent in this battle, same for the end of Jun'ko Zane and Michael King.
