Ok. So there is an opening for Remnant-Liberty relations?
It would benifit the Remnant, allying itself with a House (even though it is getting it's arse kicked) would go a long way to keeping the Remnant alive. And the extra help from the survivors of a NomNomWTFPWNGANKFLEET would help them ;)
Damn you man, now I cant wait for it X_X
Jack, the remnant with a sole battleship is the same as the Corsairs and the Outcasts making dreadnoughts.
The Rogues and Mollies with a Destroyer.
ANd I do see what you mean, but Lore-Wise it goes both ways.
And Juni lives, but I had to kill off King, Orillion, and Trent. Orillion because of the chaos needed on TOledo, King because a main guy had to die, and Trent.....erm...who really WANTS Han Solo - Awesome alive still?
My Argument:
With Toledo gone, a base must be established. And honestly.
The Rebellion had a fleet against the Empire, Hell, how does a group of dissidents get some of the most deadly stuff in the galaxy?
I was thinking on more 360 degrees systems. Most of the Freelancer and Discovery systems are plain sighted. No up, no down. Well I say it would give a more in-depth feeling if you will see systems with upper and down plane space objects, like this : You jump out from another system, near you at 30k you see a planet, another one is located further into the system at 70k above the grid, near it you see other planets/ stars (1-2)/ different nebulaes. When you look down, you see the same (more or less) So the idea is to break the plain sighted view of the normal Freelancer systems. That means variety to give the player a feeling of never ending explorations. My experience from Crossfire and Nightstalker's Universe mod was a very pleasant one because of the variety of systems. And also the size of the stars/planets, it should be refitted. Like, you can't actually see planets bigger then stars.
Another thing I had in mind. I saw you wrote into the wiki about removing from the map of the jump holes. I was thinking of something similar for other space objects, like "exotic" anomalies or phenomena. For instance you enter an unknown system. Your navigational computer it says : Uknown 2 gravimetric anomalies detected, 2 radio anomalies detected, 3 sub-space etc. So mainly your map is empty, you see only the locations of the stars, and your navigational computer gives you a warning with the anomalies that you can explore. When close to them, the distance shouldn't be tagged in K because it would be rather easy to track. It would be good to hide it in Far-Close etc and only after you discover it, would appear in K. But the anomaly should be available only in the uncharted systems ( for instance an Omicron Delta/Iota and even Kappa- like)
And some sort of warning system to aware the player if it entered into a hostile system for him (depending on his reputation) or if its an unknown system (which it will appear the Anomaly Warning system if possible).
Rudimentary creatures of blood and flesh, you touch my mind, fumbling in ignorance, incapable of understanding. - Sovereign

Also, as for Liberty, what is going to happen to the Navy and LSF? Ther more options I got, the better Lore I can write with more stuff.
And what I mean is that, of a faction such as the Order Remnant.

This part.

Give someone something special and then everyone will want that, and if you don't do the same, they'll consider you a douche.
@Folgore
True. I was just asking anyways. I love it regardless, its really cool. Kuze did an epic job.
Refer to last post for rebuilt Osiris base argument.
And yeah, even if I dont get my remnant, I still cant wait for it. Especially the inhabitants of the Santcuary Systems ;)
@ Dave
I did modify it...And its a draft, I did say please give me some comments so I can edit it >_>
Just remembered....
The Remnant relies on mobility and not being fixed in one place to survive, as it was its fixed place on Toledo, and the loss of most of its fighters, that caused the end of the origonal Osiris ship and the stranding of the survivors. Its this mobility and tenacity that make the Remnant what they are: They have a fixed mobile base, some newly designed craft, and now are forced to resort to guerilla warfare to strike against both ***** and the Nomads, while only using the new Osiris to resupply and be thier home.

I cant think of much else atm...
Actually, if you want to lead this faction, the Order Remnant to be more specific, you will attain to several restrictions and priviledges.
- Lisbon Station, Toledo, and Mora will be destroyed. Evora will be a conclave of Zoners, Corsairs and the remaining Order Forces. The station will be of course, surrounded by scrap, alongside being patched up in several parts, with rusty parts being able to be seen in order to reflect the state of the factions that it belonged to.
- One mooring pad will be available, for the Osiris, and another restriction is that the Osiris is named Osiris.
- You are restricted with the Osiris into the Omicrons, and into S42 and S44.
- The station belongs inRP to you, so you can administrate it and manage it. And at your discretion, will have a password to access the docking system. (Said password will be set up by us)
- The Osiris will be highly de-powered down, increasing teamwork with snubcrafts if you want to survive.

Or our second idea is to make a sort of jury-rigged Osiris in Omicron Delta as a base, hidden in the asteroid field around the Omicron Lost jumphole. This of course will be a base, and not a player ship.
Think about an Osiris with storage tanks, and other station parts that were salvaged.
