"Iz zhat so...?" Helga stood up slowly, "... Nice to meet zyou, Mizz Hunter. My name'z Helga Faustbeign, daughter ov Sire Viktor Faustbeign, caretaker ov zhe Tigre Estate, godmozher ov Herr Leonardo anz Frau Milaroza Tigre... Zhe latter... being zhis girl." She gestures towards Mila.

"First ovv, dhank zyou for returning our dear Milaroza back to her home, Mizz Hunter. I vas getting vorried zhat none ov zhem vould ever return, considering it'z been several monzh now sinze zhe two left...

"... By zhe vay... Vhere is Herr Leonardo? I zhought zyou said zyou vouldn't ever leave zyour dear brozher behind." She looked again at Mila with a wondering gaze.

"... L... Leon..." Mila looks down on the ground sadly, "... ardo..." She covers her face with both hands, "... I... It's all m-my..."

Helga paused in disbelief, "... Mila... Zyou don't mean...?" She turned to Ellie and said grimly, "Mizz Hunter... Did zyou find Herr Leonardo? Vhere iz he? Vhat happened to him?"

Ellie looks sad.

"I'm sorry...we don't know. We found Mila on New Tokyo...but we don't know where Leonardo is. When my friend gets back to me, we might know. She went to go and find the people who brought Mila to New Tokyo."

Ellie gave a reassuring smile to Mila.

"But I got friends, and we will do our best to find him. There is enough suffering in Sirius...least I can do is try and heal someone's."

Ellie fell silent.

Helga places her hand solemnly on her heart, a long frown appearing on her face, "... Zhat's terrible... But at least zyou have a lead, vhich admittedly iz far better zhan ve alone could do..."

She scratches her chin, remembering something, "I zhink zhis can aid zyou in zyour search, Mizz Hunter, zhat ve had already searched Omicron Delta some time ago for any newz regarding Herr Leonardo... Zhere, ve've found a rumor ov a Corzair bringing in an ezcape pod from zhe far-flung edgez ov zhe Kiribati Azteroid Field...

"Unfortunately, zhe zoners must've been payed to keep silent ovah zhe matter, since zhey vere very reluctant to tell Michinson more. Perhaps if zyou had better relations vizh zhe Freeport 11 Zoners, zyou may get more information regarding az to zhis rumor."

Then Helga turns back to Mila, who was already starting to cry. She places a hand on her head, and goes to pet Mila slowly and smoothly. Mila continued to sob for a moment, but as the hand went on to rub her head she quickly stopped, and eventually started purring, "Zhere zhere, Mila... Zyou should've stayed here like I told zyou to...

"... Still... Zhat boy vas stubborn himself. He needed to get his prioritiez straight. Vhen zyou suddenly disappeared, I vas hoping zyou'd be able to bring him back anz talk sense into zhat Nomad-frenzied brain ov his..."

After Mila calmed down, Helga gets her hand back and switches her view to Ellie, "... Az I've said... dhank zyou for bringing Mila back... Az per my tranzmission, zhe reward ov 20,000,000 Sirius Credits vill be sent to zhe account zyou vish (//Seriously). Zhe money'z no problem, Mizz Hunter. At least one of zhe pair came back... and zhe ozher of zhe two's zhe tough one. If Mila managed to come back, I have no doubt Leonardo survived."

Ellie slightly blushes.

"Any cash to the NueralNet account of OCV-Oathkeeper...which is who will get the Zoners on Freeport 11 to talk."!

Ellie looked at Mila and Helga.

"I will do my best to help you find Leonardo. Just tell me when, and I will do my best to find him."

Ellie smiled at Mila, knowing the pain,of losing someone close to you, even for a short amount of time.

"I know how it feels to lose someone very close, even for a short time. "

Helga nods her head, "Ve appreciate your zympazhy anz zyour concern, Mizz Hunter. It iz good to know zhat zhere are still people in zhe universe villing to help out for zhe sake of justize..." She takes out a flat datapad from a pocket, and types in some commands before discarding it back, "... I've contacted Michinzon of zhe Vagabond III. He'll take care of zhe tranzaction of zhe creditz to zhe account ov zyour dezire."

Mila wipes away the underdeveloped tears on her face and lifts her head up to Ellie, "... Th... Th-th-thank you ag... g-gain, Miss Hunter, meep. You've been such a sweet lad... lady to me-----ep!" A sharp pain pulsed on the woman's chest, forcing her to bend over.

"Ah, Frau Mila!" Helga goes to support Mila before she could topple over, "I almozt forgot..." She takes her datapad out again and types in some commands. After placing the datapad back, she turns to Ellie once again, "Mizz Hunter. I've called zhe family doctor to arrange a paramedic-drop to pick up Milaroza. It'll take several minutes 'till zhe medical shuttle arrivez.

"... In zhe meantime, I'll be taking Mila inzide to keep her relaxed. Zyou are velcome to join uz for zome tea, Mizz Hunter, unlezz zyou are buzy, vhich vill be understandable.

"Know zhat zyou are velcome to come and vizit zhe Tigre Family Eztate any time zyou wishes... zhat iz, provided zyou vould forewarn zyour vizit vizh a private tranzmission. Pleaze know, zhat ve had one inztance vhere some uninvited mercenaries came to raid zhe Eztate..." Helga's voice goes grim, "... Herr Leonardo almozt lost poor Milaroza vhen she vaz heavily-wounded from zhe energy-blasts...

"... Zhat vas... a dark hour for all ov uz... Ezpecially for Leonardo..." She shook her head from side to side as she began dragging Mila back to the main building of the Entrance Quarters.

Ellie fell silent for a moment.

"I lost my closest friend...she was kidnapped...but we found her."

Ellie helped to carry Mila in, and as she rested, Ellie stroked her hair.

"But before we found her...my twin brother was down, the kidpanned's brother was down...alot of us were down..." Ellie smiled. "But the Hunter family motto: Even after the darkest of nights, morning still comes." Ellie tucked some loose strands of hair behind Mila's ear. "I'm glad you're ok. You have a brightness and inmocence that would have been a huge loss to Sirius "

She looked over her shoulder to see what Jasmine was doing.

Jasmine had waited almost out of sight the whole time, hesitant to break into the reunion, a bittersweet taste of the care she was never afforded. She quickly cast away the emotions...she wasn't allowed to be weak.
A line of the conversation reached her ears over the slight wind.
"You have a brightness and inmocence that would have been a huge loss to Sirius..." She smiled. That at least, was true.
But how long can her innocence last, I wonder?
Ellie glanced back at her and she took a reluctant step into view, walking down to sit on one edge of the landing ramp. She met Ellie's questioning gaze. "I took a sweep of the neural net, Madame Hunter...not a whisper, non...nothing. The most recent files this Leonardo are old...since before the date she told us." She glanced at Helga. "Bonjour. I'm Jasmine Estelle, I was one of the people who found Madame Milarosa.

A million dollars isn't cool. You know what is cool? A basilisk.

Jasmine's introduction prompted Helga to stop and give a glance at the strange woman in the straight-jacket, "... Bonjour...?" Helga turned halfway towards her and snickered, "... Gallic...? Vizitorz alone are rare... Mila muzt've attracted herzelf quite zhe crowd... again." She chuckles to herself, seemingly-unshaken from her composure, "I forgot who I vaz dealing vizh... Zyou, Mila... Alvayz attracting zhe rare anz unexpected."

"Meep." The guilty-as-charged could only grin sheepishly...

"Still... Zhat straight-jacket zyou are in, Mizz... Eztelle, iz it?" But she didn't finish that sentence, "... Feh... Not my affair.

"Unlezz zyou are sharing zhe account zhat Mizz Hunter gave, zyou'll have to azk eizher Michinzon for zhe money to be divided to zyour account as vell, or... unlezz zhe money had been sent by zhen... in zhat caze, zyou'll have to azk Mizz Hunter for zhe share. Ve are offering zhe exact amount only, anz none more, for ve are, understandably, not zhat vealzhy." Helga rolls her eyes and mumbles to herself, "... If ve vere, ve'd already had sent a full-on Freelanzer Expedition to zhe dezignated site ourselvez..."

"Me... meep." Mila raises her head weakly at Jasmine, "... W... won't you... j-j-join us... for tea?"

Helga smiled at the girl's request, "Vhy, yez! Unlezz zyou are buzy anz needed somevhere elze, Mizz... ehr... Eztelle, vould zyou like to come to our... ehm..." She glances at the dilapidated-looking, yet still majestic, Entrance Quarters Main Building, "... humble home? It vould be unvise for us to shoo-ov our guezts so readily, ezpecially zhose who had just returned one ov our long-lost members back to zheir family. At zhe least, zyou all may rezt here for zhe time being."

She smiles before continuing on her way back to the Entrance Quarters Main Building.

Ellie follows, talkingwith Mila.

"This place is huge... How the heck did you get it?"

Ellie looks at the Entrance Quarters building, clearly in awe of it. It reminds her of the Citadel, the huge 'fortress' on her family's island. She looks at Mila.

"So, you grew up here?"

"No... Not her whole life." Helga replied, looking at Ellie with a plain smile.

Escorted by the buggy-droids, the three women continued walking through the plaza. Seeing as it would take a few minutes until they'd get to even just the front door, Helga continued, "It'z a ztrange circumztanze, how Frau Mila came to our Eztate.

"Herr Leonardo once participated in zhe Humanitarian Effort in zhe Bretonian-Kuzari War, bringing suppliez to Outpozt Holman, anz zhen ferrying revugeez back to Planet Erie. It zo happened zhat not very long into hiz mission, he met Frau Mila, who vaz alzo a revugee herzelf, but she vaz aiding zhe ozhers in zheir plight. It'd be bezt zhat zyou azk Mila zyourzelf how zhey met, but she more or lezz volunteered to go vizh zhe Herr, anz zhe became a part of Leonardo'z crew...

"... and it'z since zhat time zhat zhings start going ztrange..." She chuckled to herself as she continued, "Vhen Leonardo soon brought zhe girl to our Eztate, she vaz... excited, to zay zhe leazt. Hah! I zhink excited vould be an understatement. So excited, in fact, zhat she vanted to be a 'part of zhe family'. And I don't juzt mean zhat zhe juzt stay vizh uz, oh nooo.

"I meant she begged zhe Herr to make me adopt her into zhe family itzelf! I don't know vhat ran into zhis girl'z mind vhen she made such a requezt, nor vhat it necezzary to do zo. But I guezz Mila didn't have anyvhere elze to go... Her fazher died in front ov her eyez back in Planet Harriz, anz her mozher anz ozher ziblings dizowned her zhe moment her fazher vaz killed. Vouldn't have hurt to introduce her az part ov our family anz give her a loving family. And her coming in fact made zhe Tigre family life exciting anz jolly, albeit being... unpredictable anz spontaneouz, to zay zhe VERY leazt.

"Ztill... Zyou can imagine zhe awkvardnezz zhat zhe Herr must've felt at zhe time vhen a 'grown' voman rolled on zhe dirt in front ov a cafe to be given zhe priviledge ov being called a Tigre." Helga rolls her eyes to herself, "Silly girl."

Soon the three reach the front door. Helga puffed out a tired breath, "Ah. Here ve are. Zhese old bonez aren't vhat zhey uzed to be! Now..." She took out her datapad, and after typing some commands the doors open automatically. The inside, a big hall with a staircase in the middle and some doors around that went to other parts of the building, looked surprisingly more ruined than the outside: there were support columns with some parts exposing their rebar, walls where holes big enough for a person to step through peforated in various places, and even the roof had some large holes where sunlight could come through. The floor only had the occasional pothole, but most of it was smooth and, ironically, well-polished.

There were, however, some comfortable furniture and some tables of modern fashion around the corners, where Helga let Mila sit on. Then she turned to Ellie and smiled, "Pleaze, Mizz Ellie. Zit vhile zhe tea comez. Az zyou can zee, ve live in a big ruin. Doezn't look save to live in at virst glanze, but don't vorry. Mozt ov zhe damage vaz repaired long ago, and vhat zyou zee iz only vhat Herr Leonardo anz Frau Milaroza vished to keep for... aezthetic purposez." She types in more commands on her datapad before sitting down herself.
