Hi. I'm technically the leader of the Kusari State Police.

"The Kusari State Police?" You ask. "What's that?"

Well you see, Kusari is one of the four main houses in Sirius, and it has a police force which sometimes does things. I'm the guy who got put into the position of "leading" that force some years ago.

"Wait, go back..." you say. "What's a Kusari?"

Don't worry, it's nothing important.

Anyway, the thing is, I'm leaving the KSP behind, along with the rest of Kusari. I'm dismantling what's left of our unofficial faction, and letting the few who still have their KSP ships fly about with them however they please, as indies. Not like that's a big change from how we operated before, anyway.

I'm encouraging someone new to take up the task of creating a KSP faction. Anyone. In whatever way you want to. You can build from the framework remaining from our days of officialdom, or you can start from scratch. Whatever floats your boat. I mean, I've got ideas that I never had the chance to implement when the KSP was still active, and you can call me up if you need some guidance, but it's up to you. The KSP was pretty fun while it lasted, and I think that its next iteration can have fun with it too.

Or the faction could just lie dormant for the rest of forever. I couldn't blame anyone for that. I mean, hey, for one thing, it's a cop faction, and for another thing, it's a Kusari faction. That's two strikes against its total "wow that interests me" score.

But if someone does build up a new KSP, I'll have a lot of things to hand over to the new guys. Namely a forum account, a few shared accounts with KSP gunboats and stuff, and a KSP bank ship with half a billion credits on it, for when you decide to go official.

Oh, and the only person disqualified from creating the new KSP is Timo. He's already doing other... things... with the government.
