It is. I can assure you though, that said BC is doomed to fail. Even if it takes hours - he will go down.

Also i would like to know the starting distance between players.

5k which is .5 more than the HM range.



As a general note, I'd like to point out that chase fights break my balls. Last time nooblet did it with his cruiser vs an OCD it cost like an hour of my life - it ended in a 250k distance to the sun.

I am not part of this event, bu changing ships after registration is taking advantage of knowing who you'll face.
That said, I woul not recommend allowing to change ships.
