It's definitely a nice idea and some amount of work has gone into it.
However this is a forum section for Discovery's development. Unless it was intended to be submitted to Discovery, it shouldn't be in this section.
That said, it does look a bit..badly put together. It literally looks like a rusty shipyard, unfit for transit, with a strange 'asteroid' blob on the back and a big blue nose stuck on the front.
Not very elegent or smooth unfortunately.
The lore behind the Nomads is worth a gander at when developing stuff for them, they are pretty unique after all.
Overall:
Nice concept, poorly put together, good amount of work involved, wrong section of the forum.
Oh wow you made another model. Yeah it does kinda clash against the lore. Ok wait. You certainly have the motivation to do this kinda thing. I would like to nominate that this guy gets pulled in with other devs that do this stuff and be brought up to speed on the lore. We can use hard workers.

3D programs all follow the same principles. It's just a matter of learning how to access all the tools and functions.
An acceptable excuse would have been "I can't afford and don't want to pirate Maya and/or Max."
But the excuse you've given is just a cop-out, really.
You could pick up another program that isn't a complete piece of crap and go with that. I learned to model with Metasequoia, the trial version is free to use and the only limitation is exporting, which you can get around by downloading MQO importers for other 3D Programs.

I'm gunna call you out on this one Ashes and say the guy is right... you can't UV Map in sketchup, or really pull off smooth surfaces properly. It's not dev standard, and I hate having picked up learning SU from the start rather than say Max or Maya any day of the week...

Even Inquisitor could kite it. And I do not see reason for a hybrid battleship for Das Wilde. Or hybrid nomad-human ship at all. Also it looks ugly and is possibly made by infected Junkers. Mobile shipyard - aren't they producing their own Wraiths or stealing them? Haven't saw any Wilde cap with exception of Scorpions too.

I don't consider Sketchup to be a modelling program any way. Isn't it supposed to be for architecure or something? Any way it's a bad program to use, and there are many other programs out there you can use. Simply saying "I can't do it cause sketchup" is a lame excuse. It's not like you're forced to use it.
