Well, just did a little checkup on the new pilots of Sirius. Seems we have a new trading company flying around known as [STC], or the Space Trading Company as they like to call themselves. There are quite a few of them actually. I think I've seen over 6 different comm signatures flying about.
I'll keep an eye out for anything else.

Greetings, I have heard many good things about your organization over the comm-channels and would like to enlist your services. I am a new pilot, having only recently aquired a somewhat patched together Starflier-class Civilian Light Fighter from my uncle. I have not much in the way of savings, but I'm fairly sure that with your organizations help, I could quickly become a successful pilot and repay you for the services rendered.

OOC: My character is supposed to be the nephew of Edison Trent himself, and so will naturally gravitate towards Bretonia if possible. With vanilla Freelancer (I know, tiddly-winks in comparison to Discovery) I have often found myself stuck flying a Defender-class Liberty Heavy Fighter. I find it hard to adjust myself to the handling of other ships after spending so much time with the Defender, and would like to overcome that little shortcoming. Within the OpenSP version of Discovery, I've yet to make it far out of Liberty's soveriegn space. The missions I have found are either far to easy and bore me (Levels 1-4), or rediciously hard and harrowing (Levels 15+).
My dear Proteus, we'll be more than willing to help you. Our fighter training sessions can be scheduled to suit your needs. We will also escort you to your final destination, wherever that may be.

Eh! I've been poking around New York again, couple of new faces flying around these days. One of them called =SAF=, or Speacial Armed Forces. They say they're a Military based group in Liberty space. Guess those pirates are going to have a bit more trouble on their hands. And then we have another one called R/\VENGERS, they say they're Bretonia Armed Forces. Also they were some sort of police faction from another galaxy called "North Quadron", no idea what they were on about.
Those were just the ones I managed to pick up, I'll keep looking around!

Eh! Bit to show ya guys today, lots of changes, with the new laws in Liberty and new pilots popping up. Have a new group of Corsairs running around Sirius called the 'New Alliance', or NA for short. They says they're from Omicron Gamma and are out to pirate the traders, guess those Police are going to have to up their patrols a notch.
There have been some new pilots here and there asking about what sides to join, I've pointed them in their direction of interesting. Nothing much else going on around New York. I'll be sitting on top of Newark if ya need me!

Look if you run into any that have serious moral quams about doing what we do, but they need the money, tell em they can always track em out of space. Many of our targets are worth more alive anyway.
I guess what I'm saying is "No psychopaths" please. We run a respectable business. Extra-legal conflict resolution services. We have a mission statement and everything.
At any rate, please let me know what I'd owe you for each good (or even mediocre) pilot. God knows we need 'em.
