You have missed the point. The Mollys who attack the BAF and fight for Dublin to secure their home (as per the RP) are our allies. The Mollys who rob, steal and pirate are not allies, but individuals looking to make a fast buck. As you represent the latter and as far as I can see, not part of the official Molly faction (if there is one currently), I would suggest holding your own opinions to yourself. Unless, of course, you are part of the High Command of the Molly Council and therefore qualified to make such statements on their behalf.

Hmm, interesting. My attempt doesn't fit into this - I was trying to use something that could logically develop from the NEP, a small company with a patriotic image being expanded by the State.

If you want something similar to IC and USI then I'll see what else I can come up with to match what you want.

They had entered the world of business to experience a new challenge and try their luck in a new theatre of enterprise - they were quick to accept the Duma's offer, realising that this was a new opportunity to explore their business capabilities.

The Pre-War

Three centuries after the first people set foot on JiangXi in Omega-52, they had managed to build it’s first city, New HangZhou. The growing population of the Coalition required numerous resources to maintain its steady growth and to keep it’s people alive. The small farms in the outlying areas of New HangZhou were having difficulty supplying the cities food needs until 323 AS when the Coalition Farmers Guild was formed. With state support, the AGROprom was organised into an effective farming and producing company which kept the people well nourished. Several other companies began to emerge in the third century, including GAZprom and Hammer Metals. Over the centuries, their power began to exert a significant amount of influence on the People’s Party and on the Premier itself. This culminated in an assassination attempt by Hammer Metals to replace the Premier after he refused to sign a new agreement over the Volgograd mining rights. The Premier in his fury, used the military to remove all the companies in the Coalition of their board members and to amalgamate them into a single unified company.

Volgograd Industrial is a recent development of the Sirius Coalition, and under the command of our great Premier Alvin Katz, it has grown and accomplished many things. In times when the mighty Coalition pilots need to count on something, they can count on Volgograd Industrial, the state of art ships makes every enemy fear, makes them shiver, and the most important of all, makes our pilots feel that they can count on their equipment. Following the acquisition of almost every military contract, Volgograd Industrial became the largest state-run company in the Coalition. Responsible for the manufacturing of the new XKR Snub-craft, which are designed to enact the Coalition's fury upon its enemy, the new Storm Gunboats, designed as mobile command centers and able to go toe to toe with anything the enemy could throw at it. Rifles, designed for the elite of the Coalition, now standard issue for all. It also became responsible for the H-fuel mining operations and trading operations. Top scientists such as Doctor XiaoBei work day and night to make our pilots life easier. Thanks to much effort from these scientists the Coalition ships are the most H-Fuel-efficient in all of Sirius, and this has allowed the Coalition pilots to stay in space as long as they need to complete their assigned missions. Their workers devotion towards the Coalition has no match, they would die for the Premier and the cause he stands for.

There isn’t much information on what happened with Volgograd Industrial when the Volkhan climbed to power. But there are reports that suggest that the Volkhan didn’t believe in the power of Volgograd Industrial, he didn’t give much attention to it and so it’s employees fought against him. After some time working as undercover agents, some workers managed to plant charges at the H-fuel miners, allowing the Rebel pilots to make the final blow and destroy any Volkhan resistance.

The mining division is one of the most, if not the most important division in Volgograd Industrial, since the beginning of the Coalition the H-fuel was one of the most needed commodities. It’s used to bring power to the people's houses, the Manufacturing bases, the Premiers office and so on. The H-fuel is also used in our great nation's ships. This division is the bones of the Coalition, without it, the Coalition would be nothing but a dream. Most people still call this division the “Cobalt Mining Consortium”, as they recall the oldest ship of the Division ‘Mirna’ as it’s crew are still mentioned as heroes of the Coalition.

There are two Trading Divisions in Volgograd Industrial, the most known one is the ‘Legal’ Trading Division, it’s the one that flies to Neutral ground in order to trade simple commodities such as food and basic alloy. Not much is known from the other Trading division, rumors say that their Captains are unforgiving and experienced they trade the most valuable goods.

The Manufacturing Division is the one that creates everything. From ships, to small arms. Most people ask where they get all the goods they need to create those wonderful and still terrifying ships, and it’s all thanks to the Trading and Mining divisions, while one provides the power the other provides the goods. There isn’t much information about where and how the Manufacturing Division stays and works.

Besides, we were contacted about something like this about 6 months ago, and it failed to start up. We have solidified our position too thoroughly to risk something which has already failed once.

The reason for this was because your membership didn't want to give up the huge IMG cap fleet you have amassed.

Grand Admiral McIntosh's policy of War Communism had left a deep scar in the Coalition's economy. The standard of living was low, the workers were not motivated to work. Upon rising to office, Premier Alvin Katz began to guide the State Duma's attempts to create a New Economic Policy. History had a tendency to repeat itself - following the Russian Civil War of 1918 - 21 A.D. on Earth, where a ruthless policy of War Communism had been in effect, Lenin's New Economic Policy revitalised a country on the verge of collapse. Katz's NEP had much the same effect as Lenin's - small privately owned businesses were allowed to open and make private profit.

To many, this was a new and exciting idea. It presented a new challenge - all businesses until this point had been run and organised by the State and many people had merely been employees. It gave people the opportunity to start small yet ambitious ventures and try their luck in the business world. Many failed in their endeavours, but despite this they were happy - they'd had the opportunity to try. Some ventures succeeded - many of these were delivery companies.

There was a lot of profit to be made in the delivery business on JiangXi. The cities were stretched far and wide across the face of the planet and couriers for packages were becoming more and more needed as other small businesses exported their wares to other cities. The surge of new products being exported around the planet created a massive opportunity for new delivery companies to expand - expansion quickly led to competition.

Aggressive competition led to companies collapsing and being absorbed into neighbours. Soon the number of assets each company held was rapidly expanding - and the number of companies holding assets was rapidly decreasing.

The attack on JiangXi by the Phantoms left the planet in flames. Only small sections were still habitable to human life without fear of genetic mutation. The rapidly expanding delivery companies soon found their businesses in tatters as they could no longer afford to maintain their growth rates. Many imploded - the weight of their assets being too much for them to cope with (showing many how even small-scale capitalist businesses were quick to collapse when and decreasing support for the NEP). Some, however, adapted and survived.

<Insert name here> was quick to change its business aims following the attack. Rather than carry objects from people to other people, it sought to recover salvageable objects from the now abandoned cities. The work was dangerous - employees had to be armed and equipped with radiation suits. The supplies were then shipped where they were needed. The rewards from this line of work were surprising different from those the business directors had been expecting.

The company was seen as patriotic and received much support from the public. They represented the Coalition's determination to survive, and helped boost the civilian moral in the cities that remained. Recovering and reusing old items instead of making new ones meant that people were able to receive more social credit, so their standards of living improved. Premier Katz decided to use this company for a greater purpose.

Since the Temporary Autonomous Zoners and Omicron Supply Industries had begun trading in Coalition space, the idea had been brewing in the Duma for a corporation to exploit the H-fuel and Pharmaceutical supplies in the system which could be sold to others for profit. The patriotic appearance of <Insert name here> was a driving tool for the Duma to use. They could carry the image further.

Just let me know if I'm heading in the right direction with this. I didn't think of a name because I'm the guy who called one of his characters "Macdeath", which makes it obvious that thinking of good names for factions or people is beyond my capability.

Metano, rather than saying that the Coalition Farmers Guild had state support, it'd probably be better to say that it was owned by the State (which it would've been if it had been formed at that time). The phrase "with state support" suggests to me that the state sponsors a private enterprise, which I don't think it would do. Also, I don't understand why a company would've attempted to assassinate the Premier when it's State-owned and controlled.

Forgive me, I wasn't bad mouthing, I was merely pointing out that the problem was the cap fleet. I was told by the ICMG leadership that the IMG cap fleet stays, I replied that we couldn't work with that. And thus talks broke down.

What do you mean by this? How can you divide the "Piracy" and "Fight to secure their home"?
As far as I know, it's Molly lore to be pirates because the BAF is intruding their space.
It's their way of fighting against the Bretonia House.
And if you can't go with that, I suggest putting them on 'hostile' or whatever, because it ain't going to change just because some Molly faction decides to kiss Bretonian butts by not pirating their vessels.
Simply put, you can't have them as "Friendly" because they ARE pirates in every sense of that word, and you hate pirates.
