Jasmine shrugs slightly. "I didn't administer the health care to the poor girl...however, she appeared to have been stuck in cryogenic stasis for quite a while. Some of those burns aren't even from whatever fight she went through, but from the stasis field...I've had it happen to myself, with prolonged use. You'll want to watch out for an irregular heartbeat, i'd hate to see her die due to prolonged stasis."

"Hmmm... interesting. While I appreciate you telling us this, Miss Estelle, it looks like things just got a bit more complicated for Mila's recovery." Timbaland presses a hidden button on his collar, and then talks to some remote entity, "Jericho."


::: Yes, Doctor Madison? ::: came the reply.


The doctor continued in an urgent manner, with little pause in-between his sentences, "There seems to be a slight change of plans in Mila's true diagnosis: the patient is apparently suffering from Type-4 Cryogenic-Reawakening in addition to present illnesses. Please contact the Cryonics Department and send over a Specialist to help oversee the operation. Meanwhile, try to put additional resources into Pulse Stabilization Procedures, Intravenous Rehydration, Observational Instruments to determine degree of Incomplete Reanimation, and then finally set-up the O.R. to help facilitate Type-1 Cryogenic-Reawakening. Is that understood?"


::: Yes, doctor... Jericho, Out. :::


Timbaland frowns and rubs his forehead for a moment before giving a reassuring smile to the ladies, "Please don't worry too much at how urgent I just sounded back then. Type-4 Cryogenic-Reawakening, or commonly known to the Colonies as the Cryo-Zombie Syndrome isn't all that very dangerous. Those that have survived this far are already considered lucky in their own right, due to the fact that the real threat's right after the Cryopod runs out of energy to keep its Cryogenics systems online. At that, there are either two things that happen: the user dies from improper stabilization of active bioprocesses, or the user manages to regain activity, albeit incompletely.


"... But thankfully, we Zoners are quite familiar with this condition. The operation will be over in a few hours, and Mila will recover in a week or two afterwards, so long as her body's given the proper treatment." He clears his throat and continues, "... But if there's nothing else that I should know about, I'd best go and supervise the surgery. Time is of the essence, and should the condition be denied treatment for too long the bioprocesses may never reawaken again.


"It was nice meeting you both, ladies. Safe travels." He begins to turn around and walk towards the hospital, the Zoner guard following behind.






(//Should both characters decide to remain inside the shuttle, they'll be brought back to their ships, and the thread will end with Mila's conclusion as the very last post... That is, unless, you'll contact me first so that they can make an appointment to visit Mila within her recovery period.


If one, or both, characters decide to follow Janette's advice the story will go on for a bit more, and the remaining characters may visit Mila right after the operation, in addition to still being able to make an appointment with her within the recovery period. The latter still requires contacting me, though.)

Janette was nearly out of ear-shot by the time Ellie and Jasmine had responded to her, but she must've somehow heard the two and she smiled at them, shouting loudly to get her voice better heard, "A'right! Jus' 'ead o'er inside through te main entrance, an' ask fer Loppo Gattile. Ye both can't miss 'er: she's te receptionist, sittin' on a big table whilst chewin' feck knows what in 'er smug mouth! Tell 'er that Jenny sent ye, an' she'll grudgingly-show ye te where te rooms are."


And with that, both Janette and Locke disappear along with Mila through the ER-doorway. Timbaland follows shortly behind, the Zoner guard at his tail.
