Well have you spoke to Vtec the Leader of the NovaPG.

An if you do make the NovaPG hostile, i think we would side with the BSG and that would be your mistake.

Well but then try to avoid Freeport`s that are under IMG control, so u don`t dock on hostile base, Freeport 4 is off limits for you to dock, as we have BG 88 fleet there

erm oh and another thing you cant be hostile to outcasts and everyone else on that side and be neutral to the Red hessians and rogues just would not happen

Not very keen on the whole CYLON clan idea to be honest, sounds way to much like everyones hostile lets blow **** up to me, i could maybe understand if you where only hostile to BSG and you just kept away from the rest of us, but as far as it goes you want to shoot everyone which is not a good sign to me.

Actually they appear to be backing off of the public "kill em all" stance, but they should probably edit the first post in this thread to reflect that.

I guess I have to agree with Drake here, though personally I'd like to just turn ALL the non-FL factions away. Also, your diplomacy doesn't really fit straight. For one, you say your neutral to Zoners.. But you went around shooting every PC faction you saw, including AW who are the guards of the Zoners (and the ship you attacked had a Zoner tag on too).

Then you have Red Hessiens, LWB, and Rogues neutral, but Outcasts hostile. They are all in the same alliance, so if your hostile to one, you'd be hostile to all of Outcast's allies as well. Same goes for Farmers Alliance with Corsairs.

All I can say is; Go ahead and try, but definitely do more work on your diplomacy list and RP first. Oh, and listen to the people talking about the Marauder.. It is horribly unbalanced and a very cheap ship.

As for the attacks on AW (Valgrind i think, to be exact), we are sorry about that, but that was before a faction status was announced. We are willing to try Neutral status with AW, if AW would agree to such thing, and they should, because they are Zoners. We can cooperate real nicely against the Colonials, and that would be mutual goal for our two factions. We are still working on diplomacy status, and i asure you that Outcast allies will be threated just the same as Outcasts themselves. For the start, i suggested it to be Neutral, and later we can move it towards friendly, when things lay down a bit. That means for NovaPG and Bushido as well, they will have the same status as Outcasts. The only real enemies of CYLONS, are ofc Colonials, but there will be also some more enemies (or unfriendlies, that is to be settled yet), such as House militarries, Coalition army and such. The main reason is that they are the biggest threat for us, after the Colonials. Also, the Idea is to have few allies that fit our RP, Junkers and Lane Hackers for example. Junkers could be usefull providers of metal parts for our needs, and Hackers can help us on improving our AI standards. Now, this can't be done one-sided, so negotiations have to start with leaders of JC/JM and HF.

I hope you will have some more patience for us to work this out, thank you.

As for the Marauder, i realy hope it'l get fixed in the 4.84, so you can stop complaining. It is the only ship that fits our RP, and we will continue using it. For example, Blood Dragon HF is much more imbalanced then marauder, and yet no one complains. Small size makes it a very very hard target, manuverable as hell, class 10 weps (marauder class 9 max), and it doesn't have a bad side of it'self, while marauder has. As all of ya know, marauder's weps ripp of from 2,3 explosions, so use it to gain advantage. We are not complaining about you using mines, you don't complain about us using Marauders, thank you.

As for flamers (Unselie and Bluntsomethingsomething), i realy have no comment on you'r flame-spamming. Please create your own thread and write all you'r thoughts down there, don't bother us here. Finaly, i realy have to agree with Malaclypse 666.. "Intolerant, elitist, closeminded, neophobic....."

For all the others, i thank you for your patience, we will try to make something out of this. If it fails, oh hell, you won't remember us in a week, so no damage is made.

Actually from what ive read and seen ingame thats exactly how they wanted it, the only reason there not doing the whole we shoot everyone is because they realized they couldn't get away with it here after they posted this thread and noticed the reaction, which does not bode well for this faction in my opinion.


Also Mal you hate when people want to play nomads but its ok for someone to bring something in that isn't even from Freelancer? i don't get it.

Well now, Bulldog. There is a difference. I shall attempt to explain. These Cylons don't appear to me to be an "inside job", shall we say. A bit confused right now, yes; but no "secret agenda".. no under-the-table dealings with established players and characters to get up my nose.. and now "power-gaming" evidenced so far, such as the Nomad sympathizers' little traipse through the Council of Zoners thread and other places.

My understanding is that there was disagreement even amongst the Admins as to whether the Nomads should be allowed on Disco as a "Faction". (BTW.. why aren't they required to have a faction statement and status page, just like the rest of us poor mortals..?) So, it is refreshing to see that the resistance to a Cylon faction isn't total either. Bless ya Caylith for an open mind.

Now, it certainly ain't up to me as to whether the Zoners will grant the Cylons the neutrality and Freeport access they've claimed. That'd be up to the Council as a body. And Dab, do I need to remind you that you're the "guard of the Zoners" only in Theta and 74? If you want to vote on the matter in Council regarding their access to other Zoner properties, then feel free to make a motion and do so.

Now.. who "is" Freelancer in this instance. Wouldn't that be the community at large? The people who actually play on and support this server? When you say "let's", Bulldog, as in "let us", are you including the rest of "us" who inhabit this creation as well? I should hope so. When it comes to enforcing the existing Rules here, then I do think a "benevolent monarchy" or autocracy is a necessary evil. But when it comes to deciding who can play and how, I don't quite think that falls totally in your bailiwick.

Anything further regarding the Nomads, (which issues you've conveniently ignored or swept aside..), or the new Cylons, will be handled by me in roleplay.

Edit: Equinox.. see above. What I object to is having something rammed down my throat without a by-your-leave or bugger all for an explanation. If the "Nomads" are gonna be a faction, then they can do the paperwork, come out of the closet, and be done with it. Membership list, purpose, intent, the whole ball of wax.

Same for the Cylons. Five members, a viable ID choice, etc. Pretty simple, really.

The problem with the marauder is the glitched hit-box. It just doesn't match the model, making direct hits miss.
