ye maybe noticed mine long Absence. I was carrying a Load of MilitaryVehicles to Leeds. Everything went just fine and I played a bit with my bunny Wotan IV until a Bunch of Libertys entered on my Radar in Omega 7. I will try to keep it short: They were not very chatty and blew my Ship up. I had no chance to escape them. I managed to enter mine EscapePot and Hours later the local Police found me there. After a long Stay in Hostipal I am here to ask ye to reemploy me and give me a new Ship. I guess ye were good insured.
Due to circumstances in the Sigmas, we have been forced to work via alternate means in order to supply Rheinland with the Hfuel and Plutonium she requires. These alternate means involve a specialized cargo fleet. If any current RepEx pilot is interested in becoming a captain of this fleet, please contact me immediately. The pay is almost double the normal route pay. But it is extremely hazardous. Please be wary of mercenaries, as they may be being used to attack our convoys.

my first trade route (Oder SY > Leeds) seems to be acceptably safe after a few runs.
Nonetheless, there occasionally were warnings from passing ships about pirates in the area (mostly Omega-7),
therefore it is good to stay with the trade lanes and travel en groupe.
My new ship is running perfectly, no problems.
It is good to hear that your vessel is running without problems. You have already realized the danger of the inter-house systems, be careful when you enter them. Pirates prefer them for their dirty business, due to the nearly non-existing patrols of Police or Military vessels.
There is one thing you should keep in mind about Omega 7, the Independent Miners Guild maintains a base in the middle of the system, you should be able to make it to this base in most cases. I doubt that the Miners would refuse to help someone searching for shelter due to pirate attacks.
