' Wrote:All Outcasts are addicted. It's what makes them Outcasts. You either need the stuff to be superior to humanity or you are a disgusting slave. Also, the Outcasts do not breathe pure cardamine. It is a small mixture in the atmosphere. So what an Outcast is breathing through their mask is a reconditioned atmosphere that has either been manufactured or taken directly from Malta. Like the tanks you use when you go deep sea diving.
[color=#FFFFFF]You misunderstood me. All Outcasts need it to survive, but not all take it as a drug.

Indeed. The cardamine is everywhere on Malta: in the air, in the water, in the plants, everywhere. So if a foreigner lands and stays on Malta for a while he will become an addict of this drug, he will become an outcast. He won't be able to leave Malta without a mask.
Without a mask he would get sick and die if he is not receiving the right dosage. And as others stated above, liquid cardamine is not the nomad's food. It only servers them as an enhancer, just as for humans. Only it causes addiction to humans and it mutates them.

That's why I belive that OC invented and use/inject Liquid Cardi - in adequate doses, diluted with saline or own blood.
Becouse when You are addicted, and You breathe constantly some drug, soon You need something more,
and mutation of DNA should allow the free use of the Cardamine in liquid form.
that is my opinion, and inRP eqplanation - and that's why I think that is strange that only Nomads/Wild sell that.

It isn't like a toxin, that you can grow an immunity to it. Even the slightest dose in liquid form would most likely be fatal.

I do not agree with that.
For fat I can understand, Liquid Cardi is just CONCENTRATED Cardi - in that case is just an Kik out amount Cardi in smaller dose.
Since it's experimental could be dangerous in bigger amounts, but in small ammounts and diluted could be acceptable to human body, especially for people who are adapted with cardi.

It has been well established that the infocard for Liquid Cardamine is incorrect. Why do you refuse to acknowledge this? This isn't the first time that we've had an incorrect infocard in the game. Liquid Cardamine has never been sold on any human bases except for the Shire, but that is a semi-Nomad base and that was only in the beta versions of 4.85.
It may be possible for humans to use Liquid Cardamine if it has been sufficiently diluted, but I get the feeling that this would require extreme amounts of water, meaning it would be very impractical to do so. Also, I've heard some Outcasts say that they lack the technology to liquify Cardamine. This would automatically rule out humanity as a source of Liquid Cardamine. Therefore, it has to come from the Nomads, which has been, like I said before, well established by the community.
Carlos Rivera: Corsair Brotherhood Pirate - Retired, shifted to Tripoli Shipyard's Research and Development engineering teams Anthony Cameron: Guild Core Bounty Hunter - Killed in Action, committed suicide after being trapped in Omicron Minor following its destruction Juan Ruiz: Outcast Ghost of Razgriz Pirate - Killed in Action, killed by the Sirius Coalition Revolutionary Army during Bretonian piracy raid Michael Winchester: Liberty Security Force Agent - Missing in Action, likely killed during Rheinland espionage mission or trapped in Rheinland Space Eric McCormick: Order Pilot - Retired, shifted to planetside training of new recruits
Liquid cardamine can only be used by pure-blood Outcasts in minute doses. We're talking...the contents of a thimble. If that. What does this do exactly? No one really knows. It's a completely different substance, so it varies from person to person. Some may have heightened senses, some may not need to breathe their atmosphere for a few hours, or nothing will happen at all.
And what I mean when I say pure-blood Outcasts, I refer to the lineage from the Hispania. Families that have bred with one another and not allowed any outside influence. Similar to the Harry Potter system.
Should you take liquid cardamine? Probably not. It will kill you if you use it. Unless you talk to a high ranking member of a Nomad-based faction or some one well versed in Nomad lore so that they can work around how to make your plan work, don't try it.
Liquid cardi is not experimental. It is not made by humans. Whether you think it should be something or not is irrelevant; it is what it is and that can not be changed. If you have an idea, talk to us(The Nomads) about how to work something out associated to liquid cardi.

My explanation:
[nerd]
Cardamine (gas) cannot be made into liquid by humans since the temperature of it becoming liquid is close absolute zero (-273 C / 0 K) thus impossible to reach as at such rate the molecules stops moving due to lack of energy.
Nomads and infected can make it liquid by using their alienish skill that adds some nomadic biological substance to cardamine thus changing the molecular structure into liquid state. Using it by humans, who somehow got hands on it is deadly due to being the most poisonous substance known in the whole human history.
Liquid Cardamine is a Biological construction component. It is used by K'hara to repair damaged vessels by rebuilding the missing parts or surfaces of their carapace, it is also used to form and construct new vessels from scratch for the collective if needed.
It is 100% fatal to Non cardemine mutated DNA, meaning that If you are a liberty rouge whos' never touched the stuff before, and you take a hit of liquid cardamine, you are dead, end of story. If you a business man on manhattan and you take a hit of liquid cardamine, no matter how small the dose, you are dead.
If you have lived on Malta your whole life and as a result have become dependent on cardamine to survive like all other humans are with oxygen, and you take a hit of liquid cardamine you can receive the 'high' effects, however it may also be like taking a deliberate overdose if done with too much at once, and we are talking very small amounts here.
It is unknown whether the DK created the substance first or the K'hara, however, the latter have the ability to synthetically reproduce liquid cardamine whenever they need it and in any amount they might need. theydo dont require any external resource for creating liquid cardamine, it is not directly related to the common grown form of cardamine found on malta.
As a building component, Liquid Cardamine can be used to do almost anything the K'hara need it to do. because they genetically 'code' the substance to specifically perform the task they need it to do. so in otherwords, based on the 'code' used in a substance Liquid cardamine could be the cure for any and all diseases and viral afflictions mankind has known, or the deadliest biological agent ever concieved.
