Monk: Some of their members have been here for a while, so they should have been encouraged by their members who were already active here to read the server rules and how to RP. After seeing the arrogant nonsense posted by DIC rep in their introductory thread, I'm not in a tolerant mood. Below is my response that I would have posted in the other thread, but couldn't because it got locked.

The Members of the empire would collectively like to mention, that we have spent close to 4 years in total forging the various groups and communities which make up the Damorean Imperial Covenant, and that we arent entirely taking kindly to being told we have to figure out who we are again, we have an entire book (pdf) about how the empire came into existence, and how all our inner workings have been operating, so much so that we do not feel the need to take the time to re-write our history. We are however willing to play along with the next closest ideals we come across.

So what is it? do you want us to fit in? or do you want us to create our own identities, please make up your collective minds, because we've made up ours.

DIC Rep: I want you to fit in, but you seem to be determined to do whatever you want whether or not it fits in with the RP in Freelancer, Discovery and this server. Did you even notice that the name of the server includes RP? That means role-play! That means that YOU try to fit in with US, not the other way around. Quoting your empire's history like it's a Holy Bible won't make you any friends here. In fact, your bad attitude is making you lots of enemies fast!

By the way, I'm relatively new here myself, only having been here just over two months. However, I have enough common sense to try to fit in myself, not try to bring in a large group of friends and expect everybody else to adapt to what I and my friends say.
