The whole concept of transporting ethanol-based commodities across light-years, using advanced FTL technology is of course ludicrous (unless they are being shipped to remote bases).

It is far more efficient to ship grape seeds, and grow the required plants on site. It is also more efficient to brew/distill alcohol onsite.

At the very minimum, it is more efficient to ship alcohol as a concentrate - as it is done for bulk spirits nowdays. Otherwise - you are wasting fuel shipping a product that is mostly water!

All that being said, such an infocard for Wine merely continues Freelancers fine tradition of cultural stereotyping - and in this respect it is consistent with the game's internal logic.
