Few other factions have been working / are working with untagged ships just because of that. And even less few factions who use tagged ships on a regular basis are metagamed that much...

No one is stopping you from programing that, seems you have quite time to post here, and to play in game, I wonder if Cannon wouldn't like to spend more time in game, or doing other things than developing more toys for us. And it's funny but Ship lights make more people happy than 4 special IDs.

Nope, but being more selective about when it's applied would be a nice start.

I really see no reason to care if a faction is inactive unless it's been inactive for 3+ months or there is another faction who is ready to take over, sort of like Kishiro was taken over. Losing the VE and MR and KSP and those others hasn't helped the server in any way shape or form.

Years ago Fellow Hoodlum warned RepEx. We only had 4 members, and didn't have a whole lot of time ingame. The 30 day grace period was almost up and I went "Jes, look, we've been trying, it's just hard to get trading people together." You know what he said? "I understand, see you in 30 days with those members". *gasp* totally against the rules, but the right thing to do? Certainly. And this was Hoodlum we're talking about, not some nice gentle admin like Athenian. I guess the old guy was a bit more open minded then I thought. Wonder where he went.

Anyway, yes Daedric, I've argued against the tracker almost every time it's brought up, regardless of which factions are busy getting themselves warned. My argument against the tracker has nothing to do with the factions under fire at the current moment.

I haven't seen admins notice about Lane Hackers losing their official status... maybe I missed it, I'll re-check... hmm... yeap, no notice... how could that be? Their most notorious characters are untagged... I can't be. Must be Liberty then...

If AOI members don't want to log on their characters because there's nothing to do, then what's the purpose of the faction? Sometimes, you have to create your own purpose, go around even when there's nothing to do, I know, I've done it in [KNF] in the past, suffering the same empty kusari as every other Kusari player, activity went up and down, but still managed to get it.

If the 113th was boring, then maybe the designing of it had a misconcept, of course it's more attracting to have wild ships going to minor and shoot at the order, PvP always attract people, then AOI should have choosen a tag for the wild ID'd ships instead of the 113th, affraid of being metagamed? After 1 encounter those you shot at already know you are AOI, just as everyone know who Phate is, or Mr Sanguinetti.

I'd blame yourselves for being affraid of metagaming (I won't believe you raided minor/delta without knowing if there were players by using the player list) that still can happen, and not choosing a tag for your wild ID'd ships, which are more attractive, have more action and larger ZOI than the 113th that you chose as tag.
