It was an average day, the sky above him, people all around him, trying to live a normal life. It was nice, and he had known nothing else but the peace he had. He was currently with his friends, over some friends place, relaxing. Then it all fell apart, he heard sirens, and saw ships in the sky. He was not sure what was going on, and then it happened.
From inside his friends mother came, and she told them they were leaving, now.
"Where are we going?! What's going on?" He asked worriedly.
"Not now, we need to go, the planet is under attack!" She said, grabbing him by the hand, with her son in hand too and leaving.
"But what about mom, she will be fine, right?" He pleaded, wanting to know.
"Yes, she will make it out too, I promise." She said to assure the boy, not even sure if they would make it out.

They raced, the young Richard Pitts, tagging along, they made it to the door. The door was opened and he saw a man, one that became famous afterwards, he took hold of him, and threw him into the land vehicle. The next fifteen minutes of Richards life was hectic, being tossed into a pirate Train, and abandoning the planet, he watched as mushroom clouds rose, and all he knew was destroyed.

The next ten years of his life were spent on Mull, learning how to pilot, and fight. The next six were spent in combat, earning his way up the ranks. He was known to frequent brothels, and one good friends mothers house quite often....
he ended up leading convoys of ragtag traders, a small flotilla of trading vessels, until he one day turned from that life, and settled in for a fight. Corsairs had been his enemies since he was young, and he was finally ready to make a difference. He worked aboard a Scylla, the Home.One, for about two years, learning the inner and outer workings. One day the ship was wrecked, trashed, the only survivor being him. He managed to fix the engines, and get it to Foyle. He spent a long time fixing it, and brought it up to working condition. It now flies again, and he heads it, hoping to spearhead the assault on the Corsair homeworld one day.
He will be the one launching the nukes then, and watching the escape craft burn, one day.
