Keepers Beta Test 1

I had an idea a while back... Would convince Nomads to possibly have a permanent (so to speak) cease-fire with the Phantoms. Well, you know how the C'Tan are to surgical and genetic geniuses, right? Well, its not out of the question for them to mutate a Nomad Fighter to be a more effective combatant when out on its own. In exchange for this help, Nomads would stop firing at Phantom ships (not necessarily help) and give Phantoms access to "brain-less" Nomad Ships...

I was skeptical at first but I think things are coming around. My only real problem is the ridiculous response by defenders. I see some keepers in Delta, I grab my Nepthys and fly to FP11. There I find a horde of BSs taking on a single Nomad LF. I tried to have a fight but the lag was ridiculous and the Keeper was just trying to evade anyway. I call Jinx for report and hear that Keepers had only brought two GBs earlier. This capshipwhoring on the part of the defenders is just stupid and not fun. Furthermore, its seems that other players, not the keepers, are the PvP whores here. Everyone wants to have the Keeper Kill show up with their name after it. Bleh!

Anyway, I think some restraint needs to be had on the community's part when engaging Keepers. Just my useless two cents

Monk i agree, i was on RD and saw 30 people in Delta and only one keeper,

this should be addressed later.

as long as the keepers can RP in ways other then killing everything, then it will work.

simply must find ways to do that that wouldn't be out of character.

I hope to have some role play interaction with them at some stage, not just fighting them.

From the reports i got Blackheart you have role played with them and have been Killed:P

EDIT: just a idea and a very basic one at that would need some touching up. you could add into your RP that you are trying to reopen the hyper gate in someway so you can let forth the rest of your nomad bretheran that is lying in the deepest darkest reaches of space, now i know that the bold trent took the thing down but i doubt that would stop the already existing nomad's from trying to do such. the keepers could be a hierarchy of nomad brain's kind of royalty brain's of some sort that are able to control the nomads as a collective. probably silly sounding idea's but some none the less
