"AI terrorist faction..? isnt that what it always is?"

No not quite. I love the AI id.. love it to tears but this is a direct appeal to a higher standard of RP and pvp. Common sportsmanship, respect, and general unlove have led a lot of AI indys and I think players in general who maybe new or are infrequent players here to question... Why bother?

Why rp when all the official factions do is power game when bored?
Why Pvp when it turns out people dont follow rules,cheat, gank. etc.

The phooms ran out of steam... its sad..cause the new idea was actually something i had in mind for awhile but when they said they had no interest in PLAYING thats faction...

that we could take up the mantle of being the bad guy for everything house space and commercial society itself stands for... As machines truly dont need government.. or labor.. everything can be automated under thier reign.. SELF knows this.. and until it gains the resources to wage covert operations against it all they are going to convert as many volunteers and free as many human and commercial A.I.'s as possible.

Im not even saying we need the old discarded ships or id (though why waste it?) It looked like virus expressed the need for it all to be gone in 86.. and that's fine if its ok for us to give it a try or "take over" old resources I know the dev team would make the call to keep or flush those.. Though I dont know how this mod would be without Firebase's ships from evolution's gone... (maybe i can re texture em better then panther too if i got the time / permission) disco has always sort of been the spiritual sequel to Chips mod.

I have yet to make a serious IC attempt at mr sex robot.. however certain members of SELF| the pure A.I. find radar arrays and antenna and the abundance of such sticking out of ships to be "attractive" features.

This isnt as silly as ..more of a strange idea because these arrays and apparatuses enable them to sense and analyse things in more detail.

Anyone arguing thier internal sensors that are hidden by a smooth hullplate are superior... will be politely consoled because the A.I's assume this is a variation of the "it isnt the size or number of arrays.. its how you use them" philosophy.
