Pretty much what Phoenix Alpha said - only I'm going to be more verbose.

Mainly - the idea we are luring players to Gallia to blow them up simply isn't true for the Council, we don't, nor have we ever done that. Now you might have an argument on your hands if you said we we were luring you to Gallia, in order to the lure the Brigands/Corse/Maquis into attacking you - hoping to lure the GRN/GRP to attack them - in order for the Council to attack them-........oshi! I've said too much! XD

While yes, you have listed a series of high value goods going both ways - you've failed to mention the effort it takes - having to fly through some rather dangerous and populous areas of space filled with all manner of ne'er-do-wells and assorted villains- those gross profits don't appear to stack up to the money to be made sticking to Sirius. So you don't think I'm blowing smoke, take Iridium for example - who would take it all the way from Delta - through Corsair territory and into Bretonia - and then skip Newcastle and haul it even further into the Taus and Gallia - for a mere 4/5 hundred credits more per unit?
