The match started out rather goofy with the team leader of VF calling out the first target in system chat before the fight even started due to a key binding failure. A couple of "FAIL!" and "LOL FAIL"s later, the match would finally start. With the VF fielding three Sabres and an Odin, their lineup wasn't nearly as colorful as AGS': One Arbeiter, an Odin, an Eagle and a Switchblade.
When the match began, AGS tried to focus their fire on -VF)Malcolm.Arison. As they didn't made any progress on his hull in the first two minutes, however, they switched to -VF)Marcell.Steyner and stayed on him for the rest of the fight.
VF on the other hand went down the list by targeting the least agile ship first.
The actual fight was a rather short one: AGS-U|Gisa.Hilbert died within the first five minutes to a minirazor as she didn't use her bots in time. AGS-L|Eva.Morgenrot didn't manage to get her team's bots in time and was put out of action by 9s as a result. A daring maneuver of AGS-L|Franz.Mehler caused him to loose his eagle to two mines when his shield was down. AGS-L|Bastian.Brauer died as he didn't instantly use nanobots when getting the fatal scratch that would make him an instant kill to a Minirazor. After the fight, both sides bowed to each other like true gentlemen and wished each other their best for the upcoming competitions.
