Bart Harrel was born on Planet Leeds, and was enlisted in boarding schools, and BAF flight schools since a young age. His parents would fill his head with stories of grandeur about a place better, beautiful and clean. He would listen intently for hours, and it would be something he though about later in life when he would be alone in the barracks at the flight camp trying to find sleep. When he finally graduated the school, he served a term, and left Bretonia, in seek of something better, that place he dreamed of. He chased it wildly for years, the closest being Planet Gran Canaria, but even that was not enough.
He then ran into Gothera, and his cause, and Bart was charmed immediately. He explained his cause, and Bart decided that this place he had been promised, was where Gothera would lead him. Bart is considered a zealot by the people who are close to him, he would fight to the death to see this place revealed. And has fought for a few years under the banner, working as a grunt. He realizes his position, but acknowledges the importance of grunts.

Bart was given his Sabre when he joined, and he flew it. Then later on he got a Barghest constructed for himself, and has found that to be a luxurious addition to his cause. But he craved for something bigger, bigger then the Rogue Gunboat he flew. He found it, a Kusari Explorer, beaten, and abandoned. He had some Molly's bring it in to Foyle shipyard, where he worked on it, mostly alone, thankful for the space the Molly's had let him use. It is now currently fully functional. The original guns were unable to be Salvaged, but Bart got some off of the Molly's and it is combat ready.
