Snak3's right, I do things independently, and on my own. I can't be bothered to read through the basically constant spam of things not related to FL in the IC| chat, and if I see other IC| on and I'm not doing something else, like rogging or in a fight, I'll go join them.
I never see them on. So I trade by myself.
I literally know only four trade routes in all of Disco. One of them is Alloys and MVs in Texas and Ontario. That gets really boring and isn't too profitable. The other two are slave runs, one to Freital, and BDs back, the other to Malta, and cardamine back. Those last two start at Niverton, and are rogue runs.
The only other one that I know, I found out when I joined the GMG|, which I don't have a trading ship in. That's "prisoners" from Sugarland off to Isehara, and take plutonium back to somewhere in Liberty.
And then today Twisp told me a better one, plutonium from Isehara to Dortmund, and terraforming gases back. I was in Texas, so I figured I'd take "Rheinland POWs" from Sugarland off to Solarius or Nuremburg, but apparently two RM bomber indies thought I was BS'ing.
I figured nobody ever plays in Kusari, so it's safe to try and take them up to Isehara, after I got a loan of five mil from Twisp (since I ran out of money trying to buy those 5k slaves). Nope, I get a KSP gunboat telling me "five seconds to drop those people which I magically know are slaves or I'll kill you." So now I'm broke, and all because I wanted a little change in scenery. I can see why nobody ever RPs in Kusari. So bra-vo to the [KSP] and the RM indies for legally pirating me.
Maybe I shouldn't have done that on my IC|, but it's one of only two transports that I own currently, and I figured, "hell, my character's oblivious and rich, that whole POW story's something he'd believe." Sorry for trying to RP, everyone. I can see that Disco is absolutely no fun allowed, AND no making money allowed either. I'll just pirate every trader I see in California on my Barghest now for five mil and kill them afterwards, since I don't give a **** how much money they make or not, and I'm just as happy seeing a pretty explosion as I am with seeing some more 0s.
I dont think you need to give ooc justification for your in-rp actions. The only people here who seem to be upset about what you did is the IC.
