Executive Commander Cristina Hunter was leading a squad of Hellfire Legion ships into Texas on a regular scout. Their aim with the patrol was to monitor the influence of Rheinland ships within Liberty borders after the capture of the Battleship Westfallen.
All seemed normal until around 10 rogue signatures appeared on scanners. Despite the force appeared to be twice the size of her squad, she did not doubt her men.

Ok, lets check those signatures out, we got a patrol to finish up. Cristina said confidently.
As the ships approached silently, she noticed that they were not all fighters: there were three Bactrians, and they were ahead of the wolves pack.

Maybe they're smugglers we busted? It just doesn't make sense...
Just then a transmission from one of her wingmen: Commander, the Bactrians are filled with explosi-
The silence was broken by the freighters exploding violently, ripping her squadmates' shields apart, and tearing apart the explosion resistant plating. Thankfully, her ships advanced shielding system, and plating held the explosion at bay, that's not to say her ship wasn't damaged. Her Sabre was messed up, infact, the nose of her ship was completely missing.
She opened up squad comms:
All ships report!
Only one reply, from the ship that reported the explosives: Commander, I'm here, but my ship's totaled, I ca-
Quickly following the feighters, the rest of the ships had closed the distance. The 3 Greyhounds and 4 Eagles ripped the totalled ship to shreads, killing the pilot mid communication.
Now it was Cristina aginst those 7 pilots, fighting for her life. With a good dose of courage and colorful language, she activated her weapons and began maneuvers.

In the meantime, Mandalorian Consul Simon Templar was relaxing in the bar on Planet Pittsburg, just out of a fight with some pirates, and finishing repairs on his vessel.
You seriously want me to believe that you can fight better when drunk?
You don't have to believe me, keep drinking for a while, then meet me outside. Keep in mind, the secret is to aim in between the two of them! Replied Simon.
As he was undocking, he received a call from another Mandalorian Consul, and dear friend, Sebastian Rodriguez:
Do you plan on doing any work today? We have reports of a large explosion in Texas, sector F6. I'd check it out myself, but I am both far and busy, not to mention not at all sober.
You have the right excuse, don't you? I'll head there, but you owe me one.
With that his ship was off, and he was in Texas in no time. He arrived at the Sugarland where he got reports of a skirmish off in the distance, they estimated a skirmish between two rival pirate groups, and the use of high grade explosives had been reported. There was still alot of fire being exchanged.
This better be worth my time..
