- Recruit's message for the Black Sails, where the potential slave will post anything he/she finds necessary (bio, reasons for joining, whatever in character)
The name's Santiago Vasquez and I'll keep it short for you. I know your time is valuable. I got word of the Black Sails while taking a break in the bar on Tripoli. A conspicuously loud bartender was openly discussing the location of your bases and mentioned to one of the patrons about an offering of purloined spoils to rouse your attention and prompt joining your crew. I don't particularly love killing people, though Outcasts are an exception, but I do what I can to survive. My father passed away recently from a terminal illness and my mother is left on her own to try and survive. I have no other brothers, so I do all that I can to support her and myself. It's hard, but we manage. I'm not the youngest Corsair anymore, so I thought it would be the proper time to add my skills to a collective rather than risk flying solo these days. So here I am. There really isn't much more to say on the matter.
My offering may be a bit unconventional, but I figure you have enough hopefuls bringing you ship parts. Food, and luxury items seemed to be a good idea, but I included a few more "delicate" gifts. Eat them, screw them, it doesn't matter to me as long as you enjoy and get good use out of them.
// ooC info:
- Contact details (skype is a MUST for purposes of both recruiting and serious faction gameplay)
Khelric
- What other factions (official or not) on RP 24/7 are you a member of and for how long?
Rheinland Military: A year and a half
Liberty Rogues: About two years
Gallic Metal Service: Around four months
IND: About fourty-eight hours
- Why do you wish to join the Black Sails?
I've never had a Corsair character and used to think they were lame. After playing on Disco for awhile, I've gotten really bored of Outcasts and Sabre-spam and decided to bat for the other team. Thusfar, I've found Corsairs in general to be friendly and fun to play with. The sails seem look a good match for me and I've had positive RP with them in the past.
- Why should the Black Sails want you as a member? / What makes you the one we should pick?
I can type fluently in English and I have a strong vocabulary that will facilitate something other than mindless pew, but I'm an average pilot who can hold his own. I'm active and I'd think those alone should pretty much put me at the top.
