Engagement report

On the way to prepare our forces for the strike deeper in the Bretonian territory in Leeds a KNF patrol of 3 fighters consisting of: Admiral Hiraku Sulu, Commander Kazuo Sugino, and myself was surprised by a bretonian fighter force at the Leeds jump gate in Tau-31.

Enemy force consisted of:
[QCO] Martin. Barclay - flying a Templar VHF
[QCP] Stark - Hussar LF
[SF]SFF-Gamma-1 - Templar VHF
[QCP] Edward.Hawkins - Hussar LF

A furious battle started immediately with 8 other templar fighters joining the fight (//NPCs). Not long after the start Martin. Barclay dropped a mine that exploded prematurely and killed Stark. - This is another example of how the Bretonian industry, hard-pressed by the war effort, manufactured a faulty device.

Martin.Barclay himself fell soon after to my guns, but the combined firepower of the bretonians forced our own Admiral Sulu to eject from his exploding ship. I tractored in his escape pod and continued fighting.

2 on 2 now the battle looked like a very even fight until Commander Sugino was forced to eject from his damaged fighter. I tractored in his pod as well and continued the fight against the remaining Templar and Hussar.

I knew that I could not afford a mistake with both the admiral and commander in my hold, so I put all my flying skills into use. After a long fight the SFF-Gamma-1 was finally destroyed and the Hussar fell shortly after.

Our forces were victorious again!

The enemy has lost 4 fighters while we lost 2.
