Quote:Metagaming is a broad term usually used to define any strategy, action or method used in a game which transcends a prescribed ruleset, uses external factors to affect the game, or goes beyond the supposed limits or environment set by the game. Another definition refers to the game universe outside of the game itself.

I fail to see how no roleplay, is upholding the highest quality of roleplay. Even bad roleplay is better than no roleplay.
' Wrote:Why should anyone else know of a [M]/[RHA] agreement? Indies don't matter, BAF doesn't matter, you don't matter. If you aren't in the two parties, you don't matter.
It's pretty damned obvious that there is an agreement when you show up in Leed's orbit with 3 Hessian Odins.
Your indies do matter too, especially since you aren't even an official faction yet. You really have no more rights or power than any Molly indy.
' Wrote:One way or the other, your chars aren't supposed to know of this in any case.
Pretty much everyone in Bretonia knows it now. Because the Mollys started flying Odins in Leeds with no supporting roleplay. This claim that it is a secret deal is ludicrous. It was a "We need better pew pew ships, lets go get them", with no thought of doing it in-roleplay.
I'd also like to add that, fighting 2 BAF with 2 Molly ships while 4 BAF watch isn't a gank. It's when the other 4 BAF join in that it turns into a gank, and that happens when the 2 targets start trying to run away, cause if they do get away, they can dock, restock, and return. Furthermore, Mollys gank BAF just as often, so this whole excuse is crap.
The core issue here is; You are supposed to be the epitome of roleplay and of a Molly. To become an official faction, you are supposed to show a high level of quality roleplay, that backs up a high quality of roleplay actions in-game. What you did was a very good example of what official factions should not do, it's no surprise you're getting negative feedback for it.
