I have only had two direct interactions with UMT myself. Most of the time when I see them, they keep to themselves. That might be best considering:

The first interaction I had with UMT was the absolute worst, most childish, anti-RP, over-the-top-rage-fest I have EVER seen in Freelancer since the game hit store shelves many years ago.

A few things I want to point out:

1. UMT does not speak for IMG, nor do they have the authority to do so. NO faction may speak for, or assume they speak for another faction.
2. UMT does not have the authority to set policy for IMG. IMG is not only an OFFICIAL faction and you are not, but IMG is also one of the largest and most prolific. Meaning, they can speak for themselves and govern themselves.
3. You do not threaten other miners just because they are mining in Dublin. You do not threaten them with violence, you do not threaten them with gunboats, and you do not threaten to hunt them down wherever you find them just because they are mining. I remind you that you do not own the fields. The Crown owns those fields, and IMG pays taxes on those fields, and thus they pay for YOUR privilege to mine there. If you want to threaten people and shoot them down as a mining organization, then I suggest you change your ID'€™s to Molly.
4. When the UMT miners who made these threats are questioned concerning them, you do not then threaten in PM, out of RP, the person asking the questions and especially with a character that has nothing to do with UMT, Mr. Chrome, Black wing, or whatever you are calling yourself today.
5. When asked to cease your out of RP, obscenity-laced, sociopathic, rage-induced PM tirade, you CEASE. You don'€™t just keep going until the person is forced to ignore you. By the server rules you shouldn'€™t have been PM'€™ing the person in that manner to begin with.
6. Nobody cares what you did on another server '€œfor years'€ or who you think you are.
7. Since you seem to be obsessed with respect and the belief that everyone on the server should just automatically respect you, I will say that I have NO respect for you whatsoever. Respect is earned, and it is earned by actions far more than by words or claims of deeds. Your actions are those of a child and do nothing to earn you, or your organization, any respect at all. In fact, they do the exact opposite. Your responses to Austin concerning his quite valid feedback to your actions have only served to highlight these facts.
8. It is clear to me that you lack the maturity and social graces to play this game. In addition, you are far too thin-skinned and easily offended by the slightest perceived offense to your character that I doubt any online social game would be suitable to you. Perhaps a nice game of Tetris would be more in line with your temperament.

Lastly, I obviously do not speak for IMG, I am merely presenting the facts. Your actions bring discredit onto IMG'€™s good name as a respected faction on this server. As a spectator, and one who has been directly affected by your actions as well; I find your behavior in their name appalling. No doubt you are about to throw another temper tantrum at what I have said and tell me '€œOMFG U ARE SO F****** DEAD!'€ because I have '€œdisrespected'€ you by being honest. I'€™ll remind you that you have already issued that threat, and numerous others, and have yet to follow through on any of them.

Oh, before I forget: The second direct interaction I have had with UMT was a positive one. One of your escort ships flying solo did lend us assistance when we came under attack by some indie pirates. I don'€™t recall the person'€™s name, although their manner suggested a young female if that helps. She was quite a bit of help, and lent assistance without being asked. So much so that at first we confused her for a USI ship. Good RP as well. If she (or he, if my analysis was incorrect) reads this I certainly hope she wises up quickly a joins a faction that you are not involved in, before your behavior either corrupts the person or causes them to quit the game altogether.

That is all I have to say. You are not worth anymore of my time. Throw another tantrum if you wish. I do not possess Austin's patience for nonsense, so it is unlikely that I will be reading any responses.
