Left the station to try and make it as a trader with his best friend who grew up on the station with him when they were adolescents. Spent years as an independent trader doing everything from smuggling to hauling military goods for the Queens army, didn't much care what the work was so long as it paid and his best friend/escort was always there to protect the cargo.

When his best friend was recruited by the Cross Bones Foundation, and became a terrorist he left independent trading and signed up with Interspace Commerce for a period of time where he worked up to the office of trade ambassador before leaving the corporation for personal reason and signing up with Universal.
