[color=#CCFFFF]The BDM's risky attempt to retrieve the data from the three spy satellites only partially succeeded, with the Chisos listening bug being returned on a Ragnar frieghter to the Battleship westfalen, seemingly completely undetected by the LSF forces. However the Dallas listening satellite and Houston-south satellites were located by the LSF, who prevented the BDM from leaving with the data intact.
The Rheinland forces have gained inmformation regarding a possible attack occuring in the near future as a result of this brave and daring mission deep into enemy territory. However the LSF's efficient counter-intelligence teams have prevented the Rheinlanders from knowing where the hammer will fall.
Fleet Admiral Hale's forces will have that to their advantage at least, however the Rheinlanders will be quick to respond, and will be in a state heightened alert during the upcoming weeks.
I just want to say thank you to all the participants in this event. I had fun sitting in a cloud of epic radiation. I was pleased to see both sides playing a tactical game, and frankly, I'm extremely pleased by the outcome. I'm lookin forward to part two of this event now, which will be a large-scale engagement between the RM and LN in the Bremen system.
Due to the outcome of this event, the fight will be even in numbers, and hopefully as balanced and tense as the event I just saw unfold on the server.
