I will admit to that kill being a little quick, since it was a new system and the engagement rules are goddamn odd, plus there was an annoying templar just following me for no reason, i didnt want more people tailing me needlessly.

now, I appologised to him, he asked if he could stay in the system, i said yes, i paid him the money he would have lost from re-buying things from his death, none of which i had to do but feel compelled to when i think maybe i was a litle below the belt.

a similar situation happened in leeds not 20 minutes before that with Sepia reaver, we are in the smog cloud, i state my dislike at his/her presence near my ship, and cruised away, he follows me, we are in the smog cloud and the marduk is so big i cant see the front of the ship in the cloud, he was dodging fairly well for a while then he just stopped dodging and i killed him, now he was 2.4k away and i didnt know he was going to stop typing, he was mad at first but we talked and an understanding was reached fairly quickly, i also compensated him/her for their loss also but they returned it with a smile and all went well from there on.

your carrier was different, because you had a cap that was invulnerable to our ships while we were fighting other people, then suddenly solaris solaris solaris solaris solaris, now ok if we were all bombers with a chance fine fair enough shoot us. but really light fighters, with people constantly running to and from your ship when their shield goes down, not to mention Hood going absolutley APE **** next to you because of the ammont of people in range of the NPC battleship.

so you had to be destroyed and you had to be destroyed quickly, also none of the other keepers had a CD, so, there was nothing stopping you from cruising away, Zamaranum was on scanner for at least 3 minutes before i got to/ fired on you, due to the circumstances that

1. there was only going to be 1 chance to make that attack work.
2. we wanted you to explode right there rather than run away regen and return
3. you were next to a super chainfiring NPC battleship, shooting pulses at 8.33 solaris at 16.0 and battlerazors at 4.00

so there was more than enough there to cover your escape, we know from experiance that coming from eye level is a bad plan and rarely works unless there are loads of caps and CD's involved, and since we expected everyone to take down the marduk once it was spotted meant it was really more of a suicide mission, I never expected to escape with it which might be what made you even more mad.

So, I appologise for the way you are unhappy with this incident, but its done and over with now, and id like everyone to be friends and cyber with lots of lube and stuff k,

No grudges are held, it was a neseccary amount of RP for a necessary attack that had to be over nearly as fast as it started.
