I am replying on behalf of Don Carlos whose duties have currently called him away. He has asked that I pass on his thanks for the donation and that should you feel the overwhelming desire to send any more funds to him then he will be happy to accept them.

To business then.

I fully understand what it is that you are asking for with regard to Cadiz but I am not at all clear on what it is that you are offering?

On the face of it you are offering to raid Rheinland and to disrupt their supplies and in return for our permitting you to use Cadiz we get "something" as yet unspecified. Your raiding into Omega 7 will very possibly have an effect on certain aspects of the Corsair economy as this is an area that some Corsairs find most useful for the raising of funds and aquisition of certain goods. It is entirely possible that these Corsairs might want some sort of recompense for their loss of earnings.

In addition to this issue we would not even begin to consider permitting you or any associates to land at Cadiz without a full and clear understanding of the ships you might use, and the names of the pilots or commanders involved.

Currently the Corsair Council has given over the adminstration of Cadiz to the Sails. Any agreement for you to use Cadiz will require the endorsement of the Corsair Council, and you would be required to respect the local rules as laid down by the Sails.

I will be very happy to draw this matter to the attention of the Council of which both the Sails and the Brotherhood are members.

I look forward to hearing from you with regard to what it is that you are offering to do in exchange for our permitting you to use the facilities on Cadiz.
