I agree that the losses in Omega 7 due to the latest surge of violence are regrettable and I also notice that you have identified the main sources of the violence correctly.

Let me state the IMG's willingness to return to a state of normal affairs and to stop the violence before going into some details.

Firstly, I need to stress that the IMG has nothing to do with the regrettable developments with the exception that we have been the victims of agression. It may seem that mercenaries have been hired from your point of view by the IMG, but IMG denies any involvement of Reaver Mercenaries and IMG in the recent Omega 7 conflict.

On the other hand, we have undisputable evidence that at least some elements inside Kruger have had direct connections with the Mercenary Fahrenheit. There is also evidence that a bounty against IMG ships existed and that Kruger, even after they officially claimed to have cut all ties with Mr. Fahrenheit and restricted his docking licenses have still continued to harbour him on Elbich.

For your convenience, I will relay the most striking pieces of evidence that IMG surveillance and intelligance gathering unearthed, here:

As a consequence of these undisputable acts of direct aggression by contracted mercenaries and Kruger pilots against IMG, Kruger claimed to have cut all ties to Fahrenheit.

Vorsitzender Neil Klane: "As for the mercenary Fahrenheit, he has been taken down from our bounty and as an act of good will, he has been denied docking rights to all Kruger owned bases." - source: Official Kruger Statement

Direct aggression by Kruger vessels ceased. Fahrenheit's activities did not.

IMG intelligence recorded this crystal clear picture of Mr. Fahrenheit docking at Elbich some days after the official statement mentioned above. We have evidence of multiple counts of docking at the Kruger base after Vorsitzender Mr. Klane's statement.

Consequently, let me sum up my point of view:

I conclude that Kruger had some dirty deals with Mr. Fahrenheit and that this lead to violence, first openly, later covertly. I strongly suspect Kruger to have upheld some kind of links to Mr. Fahrenheit, as the docking rights obviously have not been revoked. The suspicion is not far fetched that an underhand deal exists that keeps Mr. Fahrenheit operating.

I also see that you suggest a change back to normality. And I agree. This change has to happen fast.

Therefore the IMG will use our contacts and our influence to make the life of the miners in the north of Omega 7 easier. We cannot guarantee that our influence is enough to make the mercenaries stop their attacks, as we have no power over them. But nevertheless we will still put our effort into this worthwhile goal of restoring acceptable diplomatic relations in Omega 7.

I think I can be straight forward: I hope this proposal is a serious one this time, as the IMG has material in their hands that would doubtlessly hurt the image of Kruger as a lawful company seriously. Your call came at the right time to make me keep the material form being released.

To conclude this regrettable matter, I'd suggest we both get to work right now. From my point of view, your job would be to make sure that:

• It's very hard for Mr. Fahrenheit to operate against IMG again, as you proposed
  
• Fahrenheit really cannot use Kruger bases to stage from, to make perfectly clear that the Kruger-Fahrenheit connection has ceased d cease their hostility
  
• Pilots like the ones commanding vessel Offenbach or SvK-040 come to their senses an
  

My job is to use IMG's influence to alleviate the threat that Reavers pose to Kruger mining assets.

I think if we both try hard, the north of Omega 7 can return to a rather peaceful normality.

I would very much hope for that to happen.
