Sehr geehrte Ms. Koenig.

I am fully convinced that a determined and newly assigned Chief of Security like you can find a way to permanently keep the criminal Fahrenheit from abusing your bases and thus also keep information agents from taking guncam shots like the one I sent you. You will of course understand that the IMG will continue to monitor every move of Fahrenheit and we will als keep a close eye on known Kruger ships that have caused trouble.

So, in order to move on, I'd say: If Kruger can manage to keep their own employees from sending mercs after miners in the north of Omega 7, we will try to do the same and try to convince our miners that the Kruger violence is over and that they should return to normality.

Now, what is normality? I want to be realistic. Healing of wounds takes some time. So I think the priority should be to avoid any incidents of major impact. I am relatively sure that there will be incidents in which IMG and Kruger clash, as there has been a lot of controversy. There is the will for revenge and mutual wide spread mistrust.

But if the Kruger leadership is really serious about the reconciliation process you started, we can keep any incidents on a reasonable level and keep them from being blown out of proportion. I am convinced that this is what we should do as a first step.

If that plan survives the next one or two weeks and the situation stabilizes, then we can see what can be done to make a repetition of this episode of violence improbable or even impossible for the future. A somewhat closer cooperation could be helpful but this is something that needs to be discussed inside the IMG thoroughly.

Let's start with the first step to cease the violence, then protect the still fragile peace and keep any elements that want to destroy it from doing so successfully, and then we think about moving on.
