They complain because a player using a bomber can defeat a player using a fighter.
In most situations, a well piloted bomber can defeat a fighter. Because the bomber has more firepower, armor and nanobots than the fighter.
Most people thinks that maneuverability has something to do with that, but in my opinion, it hasnt. And i have proof of that.
In one ocassion, I have fought an eagle with my RH bomber using conventional means: that is traditional dogfight, where the most maneuverable ship wins because you cant shake it from your tail.
After 15 mins of battle, i was defeated. I was unable to take down the eagle because it outmaneuvered me.
But, there is a way to defeat a more maneuverable ship, for example, a slipstream, with a less maneuverable one, say, a RH Bomber. The Slide maneuver, which i mentioned a few posts above..
there ie it:
Attack Pattern "Slide Wrote:Take distance, turn and thrust against the enemy, throw him whatever you got, and run in the opposite direction of the enemy craft, to take distance and have time to turn. Then, repeat the maneuver. Engine kill is crucial to perform that maneuver, because you need to keep running away from the enemy while you turn in order to avoid being hit.
With this maneuver, you are not using the maneuverability of my ship against him, you are using the superior strength and firepower of your ship against the More maneuverable ship. But beware, you need to have good accuracy with weps, or the maneuver will work against you.
Defeating a slipstream is hell of hard even doing that maneuver, but it is possible. Ive fought 3 times against a slipstream with my RH bomber. And i succeeded in defeating it 2 out of 3 times, after 45 minutes of battle...
