Well man, I just got shown this thread, and all I have to say is... WOW! Those are ****ing amazing, pardon my french, and I can't wait to try them out, if they ever get ingame. The Red star logo on the side fits in perfectly, and the design is sleek and killer looking.

Regards to the ship classes, I think that having a VHF, Bomber, LF, and freighter would be the best plan. Unfortunatly, as said before, the ID doesn't allow the coalition to fly freighters, so maybe a converted gunboat/freighter hybrid? I will say, I almost needed to towel out my pants when I saw that model.

If you made the "Soviet" class into a bomber, I think it would look better having the 3 wing design, rather than looking very similar to thew VHF. Take the 'Liberator', and keep the pointy wings, but maybe sweep them out a little for that "extra rakish" look, and make it the LF, and make the current bomber (Revolution) and make it into the VHF. I don't know that many of us would fly a SHF, if it did exist, I know that I usually treat my bomber like one anyways.

LF's have been a pretty important part of the SCRA/Coalition the whole time, although their use has been limited by finding ships that aren't entirely politically incorrect. I would reccomend that it be a 3x gun/1x turret design, CD under the nose, with high manuverability.

VHF, looking at the model, I would go for 2x gun mounts on either wing, with 2x chin guns and a bottom mounted turret. CD/torp... I dunno, I wouldn't want to make the chin too crowded. The bomber model atm is perfect for a VFH in my opinion though, just awsome.

Bomber, two guns on the outer wings, two turrets on the inner wing, one torp between each outer/inner wing. Perhaps allow the outer wing guns to fire backwards but not the turrets? Would give it a litte rear-facing firepower without opening up the turrets.

I would personally reccomend that all these ships are absolute TANKS, excusing the LF, but thats just by looking at them, they're amazingly heavy looking. Big armour, big power, and manuver... well, I was always a bad pilot:P As for the LF, I'm really thinking towards very high speed, but a limited opportunity to fire, it should be able to dance around the opposition while peppering them with death.

Again, thanks for the awsome design work, I hadn't known about this thread until now, and it frankly rocks. Keep up the good work, and if you ever have the interest, come fly the birds with us.
