It is not who they are, but how they must live. Both of those factions happened to be the last ones into Sirius sectors thus having to take outskirts. Those outskirts were poor in natural resources, thus to survive, they had to go robbing. Later, OC got ahold of Cardamine, Corsairs - of Artifacts. Thos commodities gave extra income, but not enough to stop robbing. So. Ye.

<I agree with snak3 for once, although he hasnt gotten all of his facts straight as malta had Natural resources and stuff, the OC are bound there because cardamine was already in the air, water, so on. by the time they realized they were being "infected" by Cardamine it was already to late.

Why the hispanics are criminals or atleast seen as criminals:

1: in the early ages, sairs had to rob and steal to supply food for their people, this was the only way they could sustain crete as they did not have money to buy food and had to steal it from other houses. by the time they had money (trough the trade of artifcats and such) they already had the reputation of criminals and nobody wanted to deal with them anymore (if someone robs you for millions, billions of cash, and later he comes to you saying, helo lad wanna be friends? would you say yes?)

2: Outcasts have always strifed (wasnt always clear under jamesons reign but that was the intention) to be "accepted" by other houses, why werent they: they use slaves, it goes against the ethnics of every house. also most houses seem to be thinking that OC only want to gain power trough the spreadnig of cardamine, aye we do wanna spread it but we dont force anyone to take it, the buyers decide for themself. Bretonia has accepted this fact and look at them now, No more OC problems, trade has been established, no hostilities, aid against common enemies and so on.....
