Make Gallia appealing

I think he meant elitism in the context of RP'ers better than lolwuts and not wanting them around.

I believe the point of view as to whether Gallia is empty/dead is based upon when people are on to play. However, with that said Gallia is mostly empty. At least when I am on. I also would not say that a couple of people passing through does not make it not empy either.

For people who keep saying that Gallia needs to go away is pointless. Saying that there are too many systems is also pointless. Why? Because Gallia is not going away nor will there ever be a system reduction.

You want people to go to systems you need to give them a reason. That reason is trade. How many people go to Yukon, Quebec, New Hampshire, Inverness, Chester, Newcastle, Hokkaido, etc to RP? I would say none. So you see, most people go to systems because they have a need for being there. They simply do not go for RP purposes and if they do more than likely it was already set up.

I have a trader that has been to 300+ bases and almost every system I can and the last time I checked most of the best routes from and to Gallia always lead to Liberty. The top 10 sale points for almost every commodity out of Gallia, the majority lead you to Liberty. There are some that lead to Bretonia and Kusari but the majority lead to Liberty. That is bad. It should have been spread out and evenly distributed.

I have said many times over many threads the you CANNOT spend RP. You can use it to possibly grease skids with a faction to possibly get something later on, but you still have to pay for that ship or weapons with credits don't you? You still have to pay for that RP contract to deliver commodity X with credits right?

The best route out of Gallia and to Gallia is the Holo Tainment bands from Alesia to St. Paul Base and then from there you have to haul contraband to Planet Erie so you can haul neon back to Alesia. The total credits on a 5k is about 30 million for approximately a 1 hr and 10 min haul. Alesia to St. Paul is 40 min, but if you go to planet Erie it is 30 minutes roughly. Now, why would I do that run if I can make 28 million on a 50 minute run? Gallia is to far. The runs should be worth more or people will continue to make the shorter runs for the same amount.

Everything is to be balanced, but I ask you, is it logical to make the same amount of credits for a trip that can be 20 minutes longer than the next best shorter route? And to top it off, have to run it through what is coming in .86? If you are a trader hauling through the Taus in .86 you are going to have your work cut out for you.

I am trying to apply common sense and reason, but I may be wrong about everything, but I will not lose any sleep over whether anything is changed or not.
