Zoners may be neutral and Freeports open to all, but not those stupid enough to attack them.

I will have to agree that the Zoner ID has become rather a "catch-all" for those expecting a free pass from pirates. It's pretty hard work keeping that Zoner reppie, and it's rather a smack in the face to those of us who have invested the time and money to maintain a Zoner IFF.

So, you will not find the TAZ actively protecting or condoning these "Faux Zoners". In fact, we get rather "Podgy" with them verbally when we encounter them. As to gaining a Zoner rep; there is information on the forums concerning the process. Unless a player expresses a sincere interest in roleplaying a true Zoner, and agrees to become a "registered" Zoner, the TAZ will no longer take them by the hand and point them to the "True Light".

I also agree with Brother Drake that one's being "anti-Zoner" should result in suffering the consequences of one's actions. The loss of Freeport/Planet docking rights would indeed be a fitting consequence.

Mal, for us guys.
