I was in patrol in the Dresden system, checking activity there, when a sudden ion storm hit the system. My ship was rendered useless for several minutes after I was able to re-engage all systems. As my sensors returned I spotted a Viper ship with Corsair colors and IFF. I promptly informed the ships in the area and moved to engage. After a quick but intense fight the Corsair's ship suddenly started moving in a straight line. That was too big an opportunity for me to take him down. I've focused all weapons fire and teared down his hull to debris.

Later I was in Frankfurt in a refitting mission for my bomber when the military pilot Wetterstein dutifully informed me of a pair of Bretonia Police vessels passing through New Berlin. I rushed the mechanics, got my ship airborne again and moved back to New Berlin. As I reached the planet, Wetterstein gave me their vector, they were moving to Dresden. I then asked him to assist me. As we reached Bautzen I picked them up in my sensors. We found them inside the Schwefenebel in mining diamonds. The ships were identified as the Kuraine and the Ceud, both Armored Transports with Bretonia Police IFFs.

They were questioned about intentions, requested permits and then instructed on their violation of mining rights.

I then escorted them back to Bautzen where they were to to hand over the mined diamonds.

Finally I told them they would be escorted out of Rheinland space, but again a sudden ion storm hit Dresden. As my ship's systems recovered from the storm I saw no sign of the two ships. Long range stations didn't pick them up also. I instructed the Bautzen station control tower personnel to warn us should those ships turn out again in Dresden.

Returning to New Berlin I landed my bomber to have it's systems checked after such a violent ion storm and took my Wrath to space. The Corsair ALMEROS showed up on scanners, as soon as we got a vector we moved to intercept. Wetterstein got to him faster and as I approached I could see that our local pilot meant business. I wasn't yet in weapon's range and ALMEROS' ship was already taking hull damage. Unfortunatelly, as the battle progressed Wetterstein falled victim to one of ALMEROS' Sunslayer. I switched tactics once I found myself engaging him alone. His ships movements seemed a little erratic and I was glad I switched ships to one that was not exposed to the violent ion storms. After a fierce fight, I conquered our enemy and had his ship was blasted.
