Actually AW is Zoner Guard.. HF and AW are completely different.

Both are pretty much private armies with their own agenda, above and beyond that of their parent faction. Both have their own very unique diplomacies with only slight ties to those of their parent faction (for example, HF is friendly with the Black Squadron, when the Outcast Alliance is an enemy of the Order). Neither are good examples of a player faction closely mirroring their NPC faction brethren (such as KNF or TBH or whatever), but are both good examples of unique ideas that fit into the Freelancer universe (as opposed to, say, DIC).
