You still have to take into account the fire speed to catgorize them by power too. If the nomad had a 2.00 refire rate it would only do 700 damage as the Osiris do 1200 at a 2.00 rate.
The turrets shouldn't be unmounteable as there are chaingun turrets (such as the Solaris) that are only for cap-ships and are made for cap-ships. As well as the new Tizona turrets are gonna be level 10 and will also be for cap-ship use also. But putting a fighter's guns that are even stronger than normal battleship guns {heck stronger than the MOST powerful BS gun...} is unbalancing all the ships. The reason we will have more non-stock turrets made for cap-ships specifically is to add diversity among capital ships while not unbalancing them. But Marsflyer turrets and others need to be made off-limits for capital ships or made weaker {or make the cap-ships turrets stronger} than the BS turrets. I remember when it took some moderate skill to take down a battleship in a lone fighter without support. Now even a first time player in a ship with novas and tizonas can take it down within 2 minutes. Now there is more risk for the battleship than there is for the fighter unless it has 6 or more missile turrets. Battleships, cruisers, destroyers, and gunboats need to be made much stronger than the fighters.
