Captains log: March 26th, 819

Its been a while since I have had time to write a log. We have been quite busy with the expedition to
Coronado, the amount of data is extraordinary, the Science teams have been busy with the data from Jericho
and the alien hull. Due to my lack of security clearance, and our LSF Liaison officer has not given any
information regarding our find. I am unsure what our current course of action should be.

There is also another matter regarding our newest findings. As a researcher and not a spy that covers everything up, I can not really
infer much, other than a ship captain claiming to be the "leading researcher of Liberty" and shifting his story
from not knowing what the Alien construct was to suddenly claiming it was a "Wild" object, then a Daam'k'Vosh object. And then going so far as to ordering me to not tell anyone about it. Something sounds
amiss.

The upgrades to the comm array have nearly doubled our data flow, making it easier to scan and download
data on ships and stellar bodies. The increased range has also been useful in threat detection and evasion.
However, Engineer Daniels was showing me some schematics, there is a possible upgrade that would enhance
our lifesign detection algorithms. Once the Coronado Expedition is complete, I will see if our finances will allow
for the upgrade.
