What do Zoners want?

Anyway, can anyone tell me why it is Zoners choose to go leave the houses in order to find the freedom they seek, rather than staying in the houses and changing stuff within the houses?

The answers are as varied as the first questions.

Things are pointless.

Human society will always be based on greed and power.

I'€™m too old to begin changing things.

I'€™ve too many skeletons in my closet to get into changing things from within.

I wouldn'€™t be happy working tirelessly doing things I hate in the hopes that by some slim chance I make some small change that won'€™t last.

I want more freedom.

I hate people.

People are morons.

I want o be alone.

X house destroyed my family, their all the same.

I'€™ve worked tirelessly for years, even decades, to change things from within and am constantly confronted with failure, greed, backstabbing, drama and hate. Over and over and over again. I want to just go live on my own away from all this death and misery.

I grew up on a station on the fringes of known space and all I ever hear about the houses is that they suck.

I'€™m a convicted felon who has paid his debt to society and wants to live a good honest life'€¦.but all society cares about is that I once made a few bad choices and so I am forever an outcast from house space.

Some are bitter and angry about this.

Some are sad and depressed about this.
Some have surrendered to this and found a place in life out among a tribe of philosophers, theologians, magicians, scientists, artists, clowns, and similar maniacs.
