After a lot of searching and asking, I have a difficult time understanding an in-game reason why the IMG, CR, Order, SCRA, Hessians, and now the Council have a solid foundation to have a Role play alliance.

When I mean alliance I mean like alliance. Not a pact, not an agreement, a full blown alliance. Not one on paper or some, here we come to take over, but an alliance none the less. An alliance is an agreement or friendship between two or more parties, made in order to advance common goals and to secure common interests. This is exactly what they have. When combat ensues, they all pair up like Starbuck and Apollo, the 70's version. I want to curse so badly each time I see this.

SCRA: The very reason the video game Freelancer exists. Did anyone here even PLAY Starlancer? Was the coalition friendly to anyone they fought against? Didn't they make every attempt of every moment to completely eliminate the Alliance? Were not several sleeper ships made to get as far the hell away from them as fast as humanly possible? Were they not a faction that the residences of Sirius, including Gallia escaped from to save the existence of their way of life? Was the only time in game history that the SCRA relent from destroying the Alliance, for a moment, was when the Sol system was incinerated? Why would anyone, --anyone--, Let me say this again ANYONE have any dealings with them is baffling to me. To top it off, there isn't even any level of concern when factions deal with them save Rheinland. Even what little concern is shown is seen as nothing more than whimsical discussion, masked in half hearted Roleplay to say, 'Look, we know they tried to wipe us out of existence but hey, they are good guys now and trying to protect us.' Makes me want to rip my hair out. Hell, the Order saved humanity and they are hated more than the SCRA. I need to understand this. PLEASE Point by point.

All these factions mentioned above fight along side each other as if they were long lost comrades, pun intended.

The Order and the Council? How in the world can that work in Role play? Isnt the Council at its neck with a war with the Royals and losing ground fast? They are in Retreat system wide, aren't they? How is a militarist setback, such as, about to lose a war in your back yard, put a faction in place to be completely prepared to ally with a completely unknown, up to now, faction like the Order. Did I mention they intend to fight a battle with the Outcasts?

How?! Can anyone explain this to me?

Is Sirius completely oblivious to the SCRA and Gallia factions to accept them in a blink? Please, don't give me this, 'oh but we're careful in dealings with them.' Just please, don't, because I see none of this caution in game play. None of it.

For the SCRA this is not a historical comparison of Japan and Germany joining forces in WWII> This is like the Nazi's teaming up with the Jews they murdered to fight Palestine. I'm using this rather painfully strong comparison because dang it if that isn't what The SCRA should be to Sirius I just don't know what else they should.

The very mention of the SCRA should scare the hell out of any human in the former alliance to turn their attention to a faction that wants them dead. Like Dead.

Also, as I see it now, the IMG is not Independent. They are a corporation with a military. They are a nation without a capital, yet. Their status as Independent miners guild should be officially changed. To what? Anything but Independent. I'm thinking, 'Empire' suits them.

If the answers I'm going to get are just other examples of other in game inconsistencies, don't bother to +1 here. I want some answers to the above questions.

I don't care to understand what will happen in the future. That's part of the thrill of a Roleplay. But these are current events, and none of it makes any sense to me any more.

Sometimes, when all you want is to gain your freedom, you must be willing to risk it all.
