2) Freeport 1 has been a constant pain because of militant governors, loose-cannon Zoners who break Bretonians laws, criminals basing from there to attack Bretonia (mostly Corsairs) and so on. This is mostly resolved now, but FP1 is still a bit of a contentious issue.

Bretonia considers Omega 3 there sovereign territory, despite the fact that this isnt recognised in lore or by the admins. O3 isnt any more bretonian space then magellan is, or bering. Regardless, they like to gobble up every system that even remotely shares a border with them - examples include Tau 31, and Tau 23.

unfortunately, Rheinland is just as guilt with omega 7, so the blame cant fall squarely on Bretonia.

Bretonia's rp is also monarchistic, and imperialist. Just like kusari, there just as racist, just as bloodthirsty, and care little for there own citizens. This falls in line with the prime aspect of Freelancer which is that "Every house is corrupt" - none of them are good guys, and never will be. after all, in rheinland, the kanzler is worshipped as a god.

As for FP1 - yes, decisions by past admin's have butted heads with bretonia - im working to overcome that, and progress is moving along nicely. Suffice it to say, FP1 is seen just as its infocard describes - a den of criminals and social outcasts, who consistently attack there former home - bretonia.

It should also be noted im working on a new FP1 infocard.
