Bretonian RP

Being third person observator or indie, I watched Bretonia. I managed to figure out how Kusari aproximately works through I still don't get current way Bretonia goes. Main concerns are:

1. Bretonia-Rheinland war over Omegas. Why even bother to defend some ice asteroids?
2. Bretonian fuss over Omega-3 and Freeport 1, does Bretonia really needs it while at full scale war with Kusari.
3. Kusari was devastated in Nomad war yet it managed to get into Leeds. Any explanations?
4. Current stance on what's happening between Mollys & BAF.

1. I'm gonna agree with pretty much everyone who has posted before me; 0-3 serves as a direction for Bretonia to expand its empire, it was a security risk, Rheinland had embargoed military vehicals for Bretonia yet was still shipping them to Kusari, Rheinland asked Bowex to pay fines that the Bretonian government felt were unjust, plus Bretonia has been in a pretty nasty situation with the Kusari, unable to retake any ground, and so a succesful campaign to increase power in the Omegas would have served as a huge moral booster.
Also, I'd like to add to this list the fact that a bunch of Das Wilde, disguised as Rheinland Military, destroyed a bunch of Bowex transports in New London right at the hight of non-violent tensions between Rheinland and Bretonia.

Summary: Things escalated; S**t happens.

2. This has something to do with the personal history of someone... I've got no clue about that part. Its mainly Disco history, I think FP1 has had a history of administrators that have butted heads with Bretonia, and the current administrator (Dane Summers) has unfortunatly gotten lumped in with these guys of old.
Aside from that, because station construction hasn't been implamented, if Bretonia wants to expand, they have to do it through FP1, essentially taking over the station, but FP1 doesn't want that, so; conflict. Also, I imadgen that FP1 could pose a slight risk in terms of being used to launch Corsair attacks.

3. 40% of this, as far as I can tell, is due to the ship design of Kusari versus Bretonian ships. I've heard horror stories of the old Red Catamaran bomber that was a KNF ship for most of the Tau war in the beginning. Pretty damn hard to compete against that. Another 50% is due to smart diplomacy on the part of Kusari, who have managed to maintain very good relations with the number of 'neutral' groups in the Taus. I'm not saying they are best buddies with the Tau fellows, but rather than otherwise independant groups in the taus hate Bretonia a lot more than they do Kusari.

4. Depends on how drunk the Mollys are. I'd probably be best to get some mollys in here to explain things.
