That BS vs bomber comparsion isn't valid, since you didn't count one of the resources, that wouldn't be really important inRL (unless we're talking about groups like hessians, Order etc), but are decisive on the server - available manpower.
Battleship requires 1 pilot.
Bomber requires 1 pilot.

To make it worse, maximum amount of available manpower to the whole Sirius is 200 pilots.
Yes, I do understand that BS requires way more RL time and effort then a bomber "to produce", hence it still has bigger fighting capability then a bomber.

on topic - actually why bother really, there is nothing to be done about money, at some point everybody gets enough and its pointless, but we still trade on.
