>Background Information:

Blaze Aurum was raised in a orphanage on planet Manhattan, in the New York system. He was abandoned on the doorsteps of the orphanage, just a few months old on a cold November day. His parents were never identified, and no relatives could be found. As a result, Blaze was named after one of the priests that resided at the orphanage, and was essentially raised his entire life either in the orphanage, or prison. Manhattan orphanages at the time were overloaded, and poorly kept. Even though the orphanage was run by the local Sirian Church, Blaze was often forced to fend for himself when it came to food, and protection. As soon as Blaze turned eighteen, he immediately left and took to the streets to be on his own. But, with no money, and no family support, he fell into a life of crime that eventually landed him in a small, high profile, gang of Lane Hackers. There he learned all the tools of the trade, and managed to make enough to support himself as a career criminal. But, his crimes did not go unnoticed. As he took to space and began pirating, and hacking valuable information from several major companies, he quickly landed himself among the sectors most wanted cyber terrorism page. Eventually he was captured and sentenced to prison for five years. Once released he got into a new line of business, bounty hunting and mercenary work. It was legal, and best of all, he had a chance to refine his skills in killing. Worst of all, he seemed to find pleasure in it.

It was as if he was extracting revenge on everyone around him for his parents abandoning him and forcing him into such a harsh life. It was suggested that Blaze might have had a psychological disorder when he was still in the orphanage, but he was never diagnosed, and so it went unnoticed and untreated. Regardless, Blaze found his knowledge in Lane Hacking to be very valuable in hunting down his targets, and is very much still a Lane Hacker at heart. Talk to him long enough, and you can even hear some of the terms of his days in the Lane Hackers slip out his mouth. Don'€™t be fooled by his charm and forked tongue, he is a killer through and through. His mercenary work eventually led him to a company known as the Reavers, a group of professional mercenaries, some of the best in the market.
