So here's the basic idea.

We like to explore. One way or another, there's always that sense of wanting to know what is over that hill, or on the other side of that forest.
Yet Discovery somewhat lacks that sense of exploration. 2 years ago when it was released that is, now it lacks it completely unfortunately.

This has led to plenty of folk, such as myself, being not so enthusiastic about the mystery's of Discovery.
We've seen it all, played through all the factions and ships and while we do enjoy roleplaying in different groups, the excitement of sheer discovery and the veneer of mystery is now gone.

The issue of exploration based factions, such as Zoners, IMG and the Order suffer from this too.

Discovery, and Freelancer, also lacks any kind of real 'expanded universe' type lore.
We know nothing of the companies throughout Sirius, of the actual ship manufacturers, the various planet based cars and ships, the systems existing just outside the jump network and of the merely interesting things in Sirius.
Whilst the first few are things we could address over time, the systems issue is something that affects gameplay and it's something I'm interested in addressing.

So what if a thread opened in the communication channel forum, offering to sell the co-ordinates to new, mysterious and un-explored systems?
And all you had to do was download the files, copy/paste and activate via FLMM?
Would you be interested or is it simply a waste of time?
